Warning: Beyond the first subheader, this article contains spoilers for School Spirits season 2.School Spirits will be returning. The Paramount+ supernatural teen drama stars Peyton List as Maddie Nears, a teenager who finds herself trapped in the spirit realm with the ghosts of students who have died at her high school. The series, which is known for its narrative twists and turns, also stars Milo Manheim, Kristian Ventura, Spencer MacPherson, Kiara Pichardo, Sarah Yarkin, Nick Pugliese, and Rainbow Wedell. The ending of season 2 implied that there was some confidence that School Spirits season 3 would happen, as it left multiple storylines off on major cliffhangers.

Paramount+ has now announced that School Spirits has officially been renewed for season 3. The show is set to return in 2026, though the exact release window within that year is still unknown. See the announcement video, which uses footage from the season 2 finale, below:

The fate of School Spirits on Paramount+ has been revealed following the second season drawing even higher acclaim than Season 1. Fortunately for fans of the series, it's excellent news.

Paramount+ has just announced that School Spirits has been renewed for Season 3. Looking at the success of the series, it's not a major shocker to see the show get its renewal order. Season 2 premiered to an average of 3.9 million viewers in its first 28 days since launch, which marks a 94% increase in viewership compared to the series premiere in 2023. What was even better for School Spirits was the second season concluding with a perfect score of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, a rise from the 83% score earned by Season 1.

The Killer's Game's VOD release date has now been confirmed. Directed by J.J. Perry, The Killer's Game stars Dave Bautista as Joe, a hitman who puts a contract out on himself after being diagnosed with a terminal illness. When the assassins he hires also target his girlfriend, Maize (Sofia Boutella), however, Joe returns to doing what he does best. The film, which also stars Ben Kingsley, Terry Crews, Pom Klementieff, and Scott Adkins, hit theaters in mid-September, failing to make a splash at the box office.

Lionsgate now reveals that The Killer's Game will arrive on VOD on Friday, October 4, 2024. The film will be available to buy for the standard $24.99 and rent (for 48 hours) at $19.99 on most major VOD platforms, including Apple TV, Google Play, Prime Video, and Fandango at Home. It's not yet clear whether the digital version of the film will come with any special features.
