Pittsburgh-based Fort Street Entertainment is winding up preproduction on its revenge/horror shocker Revenge Is Her Middle Name, an ode to the gruesome drive-in flicks of the 1970s. With his lead cast and crew in place, writer/director Anthony Matthews is getting ready for the shoot, and seeking additional funds for the project.

Lissa Brennan will star as Kat, a drug-addicted prostitute who plots to steal the money she needs to get off the street. Instead, her plan goes haywire and sparks the ire of a pimp called Mutton Chop (Douglas Bell), who has Kat brutally assaulted. From there, it’s payback time in the grisliest possible way, courtesy of makeup FX being created by Jerami Cruise of Toetag Pictures (the folks behind August Underground and The Redsin Tower).
