Rosemary Griggs

Rosemary was hired to adapt Amanda DuBois' mystery/thriller novel Unshackled about the rights of women in prison, Ross Kagan Marks producing (The Ritual starring Al Pacino and Ashley Greene). The daughter of an FBI agent and a Reiki Master, Rosemary grew up in Illinois, Georgia, and California. She was admitted into the prestigious undergraduate Writers' Workshop at University of Iowa. After studying in Spain, she went on to earn an MFA in Creative Writing at San Francisco State University. Her poetry book Sky Girl, about a flight attendant before and after 9/11, won the Alberta Prize and is published by Fence Books. Her screenplays have been recognized by the Nicholl Fellowship, Won the WeScreenplay Diverse Voices Lab, Won Best Screenplay at the Big Apple Film Festival, Page and ScreenCraft Finalists and Black List 8's. She has acted in Bay Area commercials and independent films. She has dual U.S. and Italian citizenship.
