Late night host Jimmy Kimmel is a grandfather! The Jimmy Kimmel Live host shared the new during his show last night, revealing that his daughter Katie Kimmel and her husband Will Logsdon welcomed their first baby. “My daughter had a baby last night.”

At the start of his show last night, Jimmy addressed why the show was canceled the previous night. “You know, we were supposed to have a show last night,” he started, “but we didn’t because my daughter had a baby last night.” He went on to give an update, sharing, “The baby is healthy. They gave her a very cute name.” Then he revealed, “Her name is Patti.” As for Patti’s middle name, Katie and Will honored Jimmy’s mother: Joan.

On Tuesday night (May 20), the 57-year-old late-night talk show returned to hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live! after canceling the show the night before.

In his opening monologue, Jimmy explained that he canceled the previous night’s show because his 33-year-old daughter Katie Kimmel gave birth to her first child with husband Will Logsdon.

Showing off his soft side, Jimmy Kimmel revealed pictures of his adorable daughter Jane during Monday night's broadcast (July 21).

The doting daddy opened up the segment by talking about his activities during his two-week break. Those projects included painting around the house, growing a beard and welcoming his daughter with wife Molly.

"We had a little girl, we named her after my grandmother – her name is Grandma Kimmel,” Jimmy joked. After the quip, the hilarious host showed off pics of his darling little girl and said, "Here she is with a bow on. She's drunk as a skunk right there."

Jimmy talked about her birth, explaining, "She weighed six pounds, one ounce, at birth. Twenty inches long, just above the legal limit – sometimes, they make you throw them back."

Showing even more pics, the 46-year-old continued, "I've been taking somewhere in the neighborhood of 10,000 pictures of her a day. She thinks I'm with TMZ now.

Kimmel broke the news that he and his wife were expecting their first child together in February during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

"I like the name Karate," he joked. "I think Karate Kimmel has a great ring to it."

This marks the comedian's third child. Kimmel is already dad to daughter Katherine, 22, and son Kevin, 20, with ex-wife Gina Maddy, whom he divorced in 2002.
