This season of Deadliest Catch has seen some fun moments. One of these is a moment that happened with the F/V Time Bandit. At this moment, dolphins showed up and changed everything about the journey of this vessel on the hit Discovery Channel reality satires.
Here is what happened and how the dolphins made a difference for the F/V Time Bandit.
What Happened With The F/V Time Bandit On Deadliest Catch?
The F/V Time Bandit is co-owned by brothers Johnathan and Andy Hillstrand. The Hillstrands actually constructed and custom-built the vessel themselves. This vessel is, more than almost any other on Deadliest Catch, a family business. Even their younger brother Neal Hillsterand works as a deckhand, as does John’s son Scott.

The fishermen on Discovery Channel’s reality series Deadliest Catch face no shortage of risks when they head out to sea. Intense storms, tough working conditions, and more mean the threat of injury is ever-present. But sometimes, accidents are avoidable. After a deckhand on the F/V Time Bandit seriously injured his hand in a 2013 fireworks explosion, he sued. A jury eventually awarded him more than $1 million in compensation.

When you’re out at sea, it’s hard to find ways to blow off steam. One way the crew of some Deadliest Catch boats have kept themselves entertained? Fireworks battles. But the fun took a serious turn when Time Bandit deckhand David “Beaver” Zielinski seriously injured himself while attempting to shoot off an explosive.

The Cornelia Marie doesn’t appear in Deadliest Catch Season 19. Discovery Channel is headed back out to sea. Deadliest Catch returns in April 2023 with new episodes featuring a mix of seasoned skippers and novice fishermen who are trying their luck in the Bering Sea.
‘Deadliest Catch’ Season 19 premieres April 18
The 19th season of Deadliest Catch premieres Tuesday, April 18 at 8 p.m. Et on Discovery Channel. The super-sized two-hour premiere will also be available to stream the same day on discovery+.
In the latest season of the long-running reality series, rising Alaskan Crab prices have both newcomers and experienced captains hoping to score a big payday. But those sky-high prices, combined with tensions with Russia and China, are fueling illegal fishing. Veterans and newbies will have to band together to defend their fishing grounds if they hope to thrive in a competitive and dangerous industry.

Don't worry, fans of The Walking Dead. Steven Yeun isn't lost forever. Although Yeun's character Glenn is dead on the hit TV show, he won't be gone from the small screen forever, as he revealed on Conan Thursday night that he already booked a new gig. "I got a new job already," Yeun told Conan O'Brien. "I stand in for you at rehearsal." Surprised, Conan said she had heard someone had taken the job but didn't know who. "I heard about this recently—I don't come in for rehearsals as you can tell—Andy [Richter] and I are flown in by helicopter seconds before the show begins," Conan said. "But I don't hang out at rehearsal and they said...

Director Guillermo del Toro is undeniably one of the most gleefully geeky directors working in Hollywood. His love of horror, fantasy, and the history of cinema blends effortlessly into his works, just as his painstaking attention to detail demonstrates his true care for the world of movies. Andy Richter of the Conan O’Brien Show recently visited the Pan’s Labyrinth director’s wondrous and bizarre “Bleak House,” more akin in many ways to a museum than a humble abode.
From a massive Boris Karloff head as Frankstein’s Monster greeting guests in the foyer to incredibly detailed, life-sized recreations of H.P. Lovecraft and Edgar Allen poe in the den, del Toro’s locale proves the director’s inspirations (and creations) are truly dear to him. See the full tour below, with a countless number of classic cinematic artifacts and recreations — along with Andy’s cameraman accidentally breaking an object.

Los Angeles police just held a news conference to address reports that a knife was found at the site of O.J. Simpson’s demolished former house in Brentwood. Because one major reunion stop is just not enough, LCD Soundsystem are also taking their restored act to this summer's Bonnaroo. The Tennessee-based megafest on Tuesday unveiled its initial 2016 slate, which also includes the likes of Pearl Jam, Grateful Dead offshoot Dead & Company (another reunion, which comes with two sets), J. Cole, Tame Impala, Haim, Chvrches, Big Grams, Father John Misty, Tyler the Creator, Vince Staples, Third Eye Blind, and Shamir, among many, many others and soon-to-be additions. Here's a poster:The comedy lineup is still in the works, but Judd Apatow and Ed Helms will definitely be there — the latter of whom is again hosting his beautifully Andy Bernard bluegrass SuperJam. Careful. If you cancel on a comedian, you get a free roast in your absence. Only "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and "Conan" are airing new shows this week, Fallon and the other late-night guys are on repeats, and both Jimmy Kimmel and Conan O'Brien saw their main Tuesday night guests cancel at the last minute.
So the hosts did what all decent comedians would do -- they burned the guests behind their backs.
Kimmel is in Brooklyn this week, and even though Donald Trump's team gave him about a day's notice to cancel, it's still a huge blow to lose Trump as a guest. Kimmel told the audience they're still confused as to what happened. "His people called late last night and canceled on us," said Kimmel (via The Hollywood Reporter). Conan O'Brien is officially our favorite person ever (actually, was this ever up for debate?). The Late Night host and his side-kick, Andy Richter, hit up San Diego Comic-Con in true style -- by recreating "Mad Max: Fury Road" for the show's opening segment. Obviously, Conan starred as The Doof Warrior, who's shredding session was interrupted by Andy getting lost on the way to San Diego. Understandable.

What a lovely day! Instead of merely hopping on a bus or driving himself, Conan O'Brien arrived in style at San Diego Comic-Con this year. In honor of his show filming at the annual pop culture convention all weekend long, the late night host made a tribute to one of the most exhilarating films of the year: "Mad Max: Fury Road." The intro for Wednesday's show featured Andy Richter dressing up as bad guy Immortan Joe from the Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron flick, as he drove a giant truck through a desert wasteland. As for Conan, he was dressed in a red onesie and sported wild hair as he played a fire-spitting guitar. It was all sorts of epic ... until the music kept Andy from hearing the navigation system. Be sure to check out our Comic-Con page right here for more celeb sightings, can't-miss moments and killer costumes from the convention,...

What does "Magic Mike" mean to an 8-year-old? It's time to find out, in the most adorable way possible. Channing Tatum was on "The Tonight Show" and he and Jimmy Fallon re-enacted scenes from Chan's movie, "Magic Mike Xxl." The catch, though, was that the scenes were not from the male stripper movie, it was another round of Kid Theater, where kids were just given the name "Magic Mike" and asked to write scenes on the topic. Interestingly enough, even innocent magic references are loaded with "pumping" and "blow" sexual innuendo. Are these scenes ever really written by children or just childish adults?
Channing also shared a story from the "Magic Mike Xxl" set.

Seth MacFarlane is already known for his impressive vocal talents, so of course the "Family Guy" creator and "Ted 2" director was awesome at Jimmy Fallon's "Wheel of Impressions." Real comedy still happens on late night, we can prove it. If you like Conan comedy gold, Fallon friendliness, cutesy Corden, list-making Letterman, kneedy Kimmel, and all the rest, I hope you’ll enjoy this column too.

Zach Woods decided to do improv exercises on Conan's show last night. The drill, as he'll describe, was yelling this at someone very loudly and very seriously. There are a lot of great moments here: First, it's Woods like you've never seem him before: Super Saiyan. Then, when things intensify in the speed round, it looks like Woods needs an adult Asap. Conan turns into Pac-Man. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau runs away and would clearly rather be playing any of the games on Jimmy Fallon's show. Oh, and Andy's in this, too.

If you're like us and value your sleep, you probably nodded off into your Ambien dreamland before the party started on post-prime time TV. Don't worry; we've got you covered. Here's the best of what happened last night on late night.
Conan is in Cuba! This late night talk show visited Cuba on a mission to meet the locals and get to know the culture (shout out to Cuban Andy!), and it was obviously iconic. However, the best moment by far was Conan learning to dance the Cuban Rumba.
But wait, there's more. Conan also joined a Cuban salsa band. You're welcome, world.
You may have noticed that Danny DeVito spends a lot of time tweeting photos of his right foot and hashtagging it #TrollFoot. It's weird, and also amazing, so you can imagine our joy when he showed up on "The Tonight Show" and whipped out Troll Foot for...

Will Smith was on "The Tonight Show" Thursday night. Since Jimmy Fallon is a self-described "classically trained beatboxer," he and Will beatboxed to "It Takes Two," using an iPad app. It took them a while to get into it, but it's good. Will also got the audience involved. It was a big night for performing to and with the audience, as you can see in other show videos below. Jeff Bridges - who has to be one of the best people on our planet - was on "Conan" and talked about his Super Bowl ad. You should watch his "Epic Omming Session" with Conan, Andy and the audience. Puppies are adorable. Right up until the point when they're not. Conan O'Brien brought back his annual "Puppy Conan" sketch last night, timed to coincide with the Super Bowl and Puppy Bowl. Everything started off all cute and precious, with Puppy Tom Brady and his deflated football collar, Puppy Conan, Puppy Andy Richter and Puppy Chris Christie. And then Puppy Andy relieved himself on the carpet and his two puppy friends decided to come over and make a meal of it. Puppy Nicki Minaj stayed above the fray though. Once again, Chelsea Handler has proved that she can dish it and take it - albeit with an uncontrollable laughing fit. During an appearance on Conan on Tuesday, the comedian targeted Conan O'Brien's beloved sidekick Andy Richter with a not-so-thinly veiled joke about his weight. Andy gave it a couple of seconds before delivering a zinger that Chelsea didn't see coming. Watch the hilarious moment in the video above, and then be sure to catch up on the latest viral videos.

This weekend marks the limited and VOD release of God Help the Girl, a musical from Stuart Murdoch, best known as the lead singer of Belle and Sebastian. God Help the Girl, which emerged out of a musical side project for Murdoch, follows three friends who start a band during a summer in Glasgow. It has, yes, been described as “twee,” a word now practically synonymous with Belle and Sebastian.
Belle and Sebastian’s music—cheery melodies paired with vivid, often melancholy lyrics—often feels cinematic, thanks to the band’s knack for weaving intricate mini-stories. In that way, it...

AMC has ordered three reality series including All-Star Celebrity Bowling, which sounds ridiculous but could be a lot of fun with the right guests (the pilot features Jon Hamm and the cast of Mad Men playing against Chris Hardwick‘s Nerdist pals).
EW reports that Michael Malarkey will be a series regular on The Vampire Diaries next season. I’d be happier if Malakey weren’t so infuriatingly good at being such a hate-inspiring character, but he’s a great addition to the cast.
Oh, Enzo, why can’t you be pretty and bearable? You too, Damon.
Vulture argues that Grey’s Anatomy failed Cristina Yang. Her exit lacked the grandiose symbolism and narrative impact that Grey’s does well. As emotional as Cristina’s exit may have been, it failed to live up to the drama’s standards. What did you think, Grey’s watchers?

This Sunday, Conan O’Brien will host the 2014 MTV Movie Awards — but unlike his regular hosting gig on TBS, he’ll be on stage without his longtime sidekick Andy Richter.
“Andy’s not reliable,” O’Brien explains to EW. “I’d love to bring Andy — in fact, I’ve tried to bring Andy to many things. But he’s like the country singer George Jones late in his career: Maybe he’ll show, maybe he won’t.”
“Andy pretty much lives in an Rv,” O’Brien adds. “It’s very hard; he doesn’t have any representation. You can tell.

Is Conan O'Brien really an all-star when it comes to knowing the Lone Star State? Conan kicked off a week of shows in Dallas yesterday by immediately bragging about how much he knows about the state of Texas, prompting wingman Andy Richter to immediately call him out on his cockiness. "I am serious," Conan insisted. "I'm not being cocky, I'm being serious! Nobody at this point knows Texas better than I do. I don't think it's possible." "Well, then you should have no problem then passing the just-invented 'Texas Citizenship Test,'" Andy countered. And who better to administer the test than a hometown favorite? Out walked Dallas Mavericks star...

When he's not trying to change America's attitude toward the virtues of a hard day's work with his "Profoundly Disconnected" initiative, former "Dirty Jobs" star Mike Rowe is busy lending his golden voice to a variety of reality shows, from "Wicked Tuna" and "Airplane Repo" to "Bering Sea Gold" and "Deadliest Catch."
"Deadliest" returns for its 10th season on Tuesday, April 22, so Rowe is hard at work in the recording booth narrating the adventures of the Bering Sea crab fleet.
In between all of these, Rowe keeps busy online, including a video series called "Adventures in Voiceover." Highlights include Rowe offering a behind-the-scenes description of what led to his infamous Ted talk on neutering lambs with his teeth; doing a dramatic rendition of "Adventures of Joey and Andy Crabs: Crab Day Afternoon," the children's book by crab Capt. Johnathan Hillstrand; and reading the phone book (that's not a metaphor; he...

"Deadliest Catch" narrator Mike Rowe and F/V Time Bandit Capt. Andy Hillstrand (right)-- co-skipper with brother Johnathan (left) -- have been involved in a little back-and-forth about Rowe's detailed knowledge of the show's boats and crews that started on Twitter and has now evolved into dueling videos.
First, Rowe posted this video answering Hillstrand's assertion that he "doesn't know s****" (language Nsfw).
Then Hillstrand responded with this video enumerating Rowe's errors.
Now Rowe has retorted with this video, in which he explains the source of his confusion and then body-slams Hillstrand (metaphorically, of course) with a smile on his face -- and a nod to the widespread impression that "Deadliest" is a floating soap opera (not to mention a "numerical Rubik's Cube").
Where will it end? Knowing the penchant for fireworks aboard the Time Bandit, anything could happen.

Since the beginning, former "Dirty Jobs" star Mike Rowe has narrated Discovery's crab-fishing docu-series "Deadliest Catch," airing Tuesdays. In reading narration week after week, he's learned a few facts about the boats out on Alaska's Bering Sea.
But, it seems Rowe doesn't know quite enough to please Andy Hillstrand, the co-captain (with brother Johnathan) of the F/V Time Bandit -- and a little Twitter dust-up ensued between @mikeroweworks and @capt_andy.
Rowe fired back at Hillstrand's assertion, made on Twitter in response to a fan's comment, that he "doesn't know s***," with this video. (Nsfw language, as you might expect.)
Then Hillstrand answered with a video of his own, schooling Rowe on the ins and outs of boats and current and former deckhands -- in particular Jake Anderson, Josh Harris and Jake Harris.

What a low blow, Aisha! In a new interview, ‘The Talk’ star was asked about being given the wrong envelope as a presenter at the Daytime Emmys in June, and she totally slammed soap actresses in her response!
Aisha Tyler is a daytime TV talk show host (and the voice of a character on FX’s Archer), she apparently puts herself above daytime TV actors.
Aisha Tyler Slams Soap Opera Actors
Aisha revealed her low thoughts of soap opera stars while being interviewed by Andy Cohen on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live on July 11. Andy asked her about the Daytime Emmys mixup from a month before, when Aisha was forced to ad-lib after she was given the envelope for the next category, not the one she was supposed to be reading.
“They’ve never given out the wrong envelope in the history of the Emmy Awards, ever,” Aisha said.

The crab-fishing captains of Discovery Channel's Tuesday reality hit "Deadliest Catch" supply a lot of tasty shellfish to tables around the world. So, when it's time to sit down to eat between pulling Bering Sea crab pots on the F/V Time Bandit, what's on the menu?
"Out on the boat," says co-captain (with brother Andy) Johnathan Hillstrand, "we all cook together. There's seven of us guys, and guys are actually pretty good cooks. Everyone knows their own specialty. Somebody knows how to make spaghetti, or I make chili. Mine is just plain chili; it's not real spicy. If you want to add Tabasco, it's there.
"But I can cook almost anything. I make a nice salad, with vinaigrette. Basically, we'll buy full filets, and we'll trim them ourselves. We eat crab, of course, a lot of fresh crab. A lot of these boats, they eat pizza pockets, and they don't eat right.

Zap2it: Along with crab fishing, "Deadliest Catch" is about relationships, mostly father-son and brother-brother. That includes you and your older brother, Capt. Sig Hansen, of the F/V Northwestern. What's that dynamic?
Edgar Hansen: He's the older brother, and he'll always be the older brother. So it goes back to our family. There was no hugging, no "I love yous" and "goodbyes," all that c***. Everything was based on respect. We respected our father, what he did for a living.
Zap2it: This season, you got the chance to leave the deck and come up to the wheelhouse to be captain for blue crab season. Might we see the Northwestern go to a tag-team captain model, like brothers Andy and Johnathan Hillstrand on the F/V Time Bandit?

The good folks at Discovery Channel were kind enough to pass along to Zap2it fans this exclusive clip from Tuesday's (June 4) "Deadliest Catch" episode, showing the Bering Sea crab-fishing fleet enjoying audio of a Seattle Seahawks playoff game from January.
But when the crew of the F/V Time Bandit -- captained, for opilio-crab season, by Andy Hillstrand -- decides to celebrate in the usual way, something goes very wrong.
Watch:
Also, as "Deadliest" devotees know, Jake Anderson, a deckhand on the F/V Northwestern -- and the protege of its captain, Sig Hansen, who performed his wedding ceremony -- decided to seek advancement by moving over to the high-end fishing vessel Kiska Sea.
Anderson is still at sea, fishing (you'll have to keep watching to see on which boat), but he did have something to say on Twitter in May after his fight -- seen in the May...
