Fred Macdonald(II)

Fred Macdonald is an American media executive, creative director, writer, and film producer. He led Olive Jar Studios through its expansion into television, theme park media, and commercials for clients like Coca-Cola, Levi Strauss, Cartoon Network, NBC, Disney, and Universal Studios collaborating with artists such as Spike Jonze and George Meyer before its 2000 acquisition by Red Sky Interactive. Most recently, he co-wrote and produced Sew Torn (2024) with his son Freddy Macdonald, a critically acclaimed feature that premiered at SXSW, headlined Locarno, and earned a 95% Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes following its theatrical release in May 2025.
