Cory Fernandez is one of the most electric and original voices in comedy today, a magnetic performer whose blend of sharp wit, fearless storytelling, and undeniable charm has made him one of the fastest rising stars in entertainment.

Born and raised in New York City, Cory burst onto the national scene after just one year of stand-up, earning a finalist spot on BET's Coming to the Stage, performing alongside comedy greats Kim Coles, Bruce Bruce, and Lil Duval. He quickly followed with appearances on Bill Bellamy's Who's Got Jokes? with Tiffany Haddish and Lil Rel, Jamie Foxx Presents: Laffapalooza on Comedy Central, and The Mo'Nique Show. His comedic prowess earned him finalist recognition in NBCUniversal's prestigious Stand-Up NBC showcase, a nationwide search for the top diverse comedic talent in America.

Cory made history on HBO's iconic Def Comedy Jam, sharing the stage with D.L. Hughley, becoming the first Puerto Rican comedian to appear on the legendary series. He reunited with BET soon after, performing alongside Kevin Hart on Comic View: One Mic Stand. Not one to be confined to the stage, Cory made a seamless leap into acting, landing a role in the Warner Bros. action/comedy Cop Out, starring Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan, directed by cult legend Kevin Smith (Clerks). His growing list of screen credits includes appearances on NBC's Mercy, MTV's I Just Want My Pants Back, HBO's Womack (opposite Rob Morgan and Clifton Powell), and the satirical indie Kony Montana with Leslie Jones.

Cory's dramatic chops landed him a principal role in the Spike Lee directed HBO pilot Da Brick, produced by Mike Tyson and Doug Ellin (Entourage), written by Oscar-winner John Ridley (12 Years a Slave). He starred opposite Rosie Perez and future Star Wars lead John Boyega in a performance that signaled his arrival as a serious acting force.

Cory has performed across the globe, touring in the UK, Germany, and Japan, and entertaining U.S. troops from every branch of the military. Stateside, he remains a fixture at top comedy clubs and college campuses, and has appeared at major festivals like the Boston Comedy Festival and on shows including Comedy TV (NBC), Live at Gotham (Comedy Central), White Collar (USA), The Following (FOX), Orange Is the New Black (Netflix), and Laugh Tonight with Damon Williams (UrbanflixTV).

Now based in Los Angeles, Cory continues to evolve as a powerhouse multi-hyphenate, comedian, actor, writer, and storyteller, with a voice that resonates across cultures and generations. Whether on stage or screen, Cory Fernandez isn't just one to watch; he's the next breakout star defining what's next in comedy.
