‘Wheel of Fortune’ Contestant Loses Car After Almost Kicking Ryan Seacrest in Face
Image
A Wheel of Fortune contestant missed out on a car in the Bonus Round on a puzzle that was just too hard to guess. This all came after the game show contestant almost had a nasty accident with host Ryan Seacrest. Demitri Vyzis, from Kirkland, Washington, played against Carol Miranda, from Los Angeles, California, and Casey Anderson, from Bradenton, Florida, on Tuesday, April 29. Vyzis, a former Greek dancer from Seattle, guessed the first two toss-ups, putting $2,000 in his bank. When he showed host Ryan Seacrest his moves, the contestant kicked his leg out and nearly kicked the host in the face. “You have a long leg, Demitri,” Seacrest said. He solved most of the first puzzle but landed on Bankrupt halfway through. Miranda, an avid passport stamp collector, also landed on Bankrupt, so the turn moved to Anderson, a sports mom to two kids. She guessed one letter before landing on Bankrupt,...

Uschi Digard, Kitten Natividad, Sharon Hill, Ken Kerr, June Mack, and Ann Marie in Beneath the Valley of the Ultra-Vixens (1979)
Beneath The Valley Of The Ultra-Vixens - Donald Munro - 19519
Uschi Digard, Kitten Natividad, Sharon Hill, Ken Kerr, June Mack, and Ann Marie in Beneath the Valley of the Ultra-Vixens (1979)
Beneath The Valley Of The Ultra-Vixens is the third film in Russ Meyere's Vixens trilogy. It was the last of his films to have a cinematic release. It is also the worst film he ever made. The film is an unfortunate parody of his previous work. After 93 minutes you'll have seen 50 attempts at shark jumping sexplotation and a main plot that consists of three puerile jokes.

Elements of his other films can be scene in Ultra-Vixens: the red that was a motif for sex is now splatted everywhere and serves no function; the bare wire frame of a mattress is seen 50 odd times in cutaway. Meyer's filmmaking style was characterised by static shot and cutaway. He was a master of the hard cut. The one between Roxanne (Erica Gavin) and the Kelly Affair's singer Casey Anderson (Cynthia Myers) at the start of Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls.

‘Man vs. Bear’ Competition Reality Series With Humans & Grizzlies Coming To Discovery From Kinetic Content
In a throwback to the 2003 Mike Darnell boundary-pushing reality TV staple Man vs. Beast, Discovery Channel is doing Man vs. Bear, a competition series pitting humans against Grizzlies. The reality show, from Kinetic Content (Married At First Sight), a Red Arrow Studios company, has been filmed and premieres December 4.

It features three Grizzlies – Bart, Honey Bump and Tank – all free-range captive bears, some of them entertainment experience. They take on human competitors at a Utah sanctuary in challenges designed around the exercise routines the animals regularly follow, including a game of “tug of war” or rolling giant logs.

Each episode includes five distinct challenges inspired by what bears do naturally in the wild. In the final round, the top two competitors come face-to-face with Bart, who stands 8 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 1,400 pounds. The human competitor who earns the most points of the day is named champion.

The season concludes...

Bears and Humans Will Finally Battle for Supremacy in Discovery’s New Competition Series ‘Man vs. Bear’
Would you challenge a grizzly bear to a game of tug-of-war? Discovery Channel is about to find out who would prevail in its new competition series “Man vs. Bear.”

Here’s how the show works: Each week, three grizzlies named Bart, Honey Bump and Tank will compete against three humans (men and women) in five challenges that test strength, speed and stamina. The bears have the home team advantage, as the competition takes place at the Utah sanctuary where they live, and the challenges play to the bears’ natural instincts and predatory skills. Besides tug-of-war, challenges include rolling giant logs using brute force alone, and other activities bears naturally do in the wild.

In the final round, the top two human competitors will go face-to-face with Bart the grizzly bear, who is 8-and-a-half feet tall and weighs 1,400 pounds. The human with the most points at the end of the episode will be crowned the winner.

'Look What You Made Me Do' Video Director Defends Taylor Swift Against Beyoncé Lemonade Comparisons
Beyoncé
The Beyhive may see similarities between a teaser clip of Taylor Swift‘s video for her biting new single “Look What You Made Me Do” and Beyoncé’s 2016 Lemonade visual album, but Swift’s video director Joseph Kahn isn’t having it.

On Friday night, the Grammy-winning director — who shot Swift’s “Bad Blood,” “Out of the Woods,” “Wildest Dreams” and “Blank Space” videos as well as Destiny’s Child’s “Say My Name” and “Jumpin’ Jumpin'” — tweeted his reaction to fan speculation that Tay was making a dig at Bey.

‘Talk Show The Game Show’: The Origin Story of TV’s Newest, Queerest, Most Hilarious Mash-Up Series
Talk Show the Game Show (2017)
Real talk: “Talk Show The Game Show” will penalize a guest for murder, but it adheres to strict guidelines for what that means. “If you murder someone during the course of the game, we don’t have to wait for the entire legal process to play out in the state of California,” host and creator Guy Branum said. “[Head judge] Casey Schreiner can just put you in the penalty box for a period of time, possibly even throw you out of the game.

“Though not necessarily,” Branum added. “It depends on the terms of the murder.”

Drew Barrymore in Scream (1996)
Exclusive: 'Scream' 20 Years Later -- Neve Campbell and Co-Stars Share Untold Stories From the Set
Drew Barrymore in Scream (1996)
It’s been 20 years since Ghostface slashed into theaters in Scream and asked that infamously ironic question of a wide-eyed Casey Becker, played by Drew Barrymore. Three sequels and an MTV series later, Scream is just as revolutionary as it was upon its initial release on Dec. 20, 1996.

By the mid-’90s, slasher films were considered dead and buried (pun intended), thanks in part to a slew of poorly received sequels to iconic franchises -- Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers, Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare and Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday. Until, of course, Scream changed the game entirely.

Praised by theatergoers and critics alike, Scream grossed over $100 million at the domestic box office on a production budget of just $14 million. It was unheard of at the time for horror movies, and, as a result, it fully revitalized the genre. Following the success of Scream, a new generation of horror fans was treated to the...

Best of Late Night TV: Jimmy Fallon's Tarantula Trauma, Gordon Ramsay's Prison Bakery (Video)
If you're like us and value your sleep, you probably nodded off into your Ambien dreamland before the party started on post-prime time TV. Don't worry; we've got you covered. Here's the best of what happened last night on late night.

This may be the wrong way to wake up, but in the video below you can watch tarantulas crawl all over Jimmy Fallon.

On Monday night, Jimmy had a visit from Jeff Musial's animal kingdom, including an adorable Siberian lynx, a red kangaroo, and a couple of Mexican white and red-kneed tarantulas. Jimmy looked uncomfortable through the whole thing, even before Jeff randomly put a tarantula on his shoulder. Jimmy kept repeating, "I don't like spiders," but apparently Jeff got the Ok from someone because he kept adding tarantulas onto his head, face and hand. Poor Jimmy looked traumatized. It didn't help that Jeff kept shouting "Don't move!

Stalker (2014)
'Stalker' premiere react: Pouring fuel on desire
Stalker (2014)
Though Kevin Williamson is the Scream King, the debut of his new series Stalker was more of a whimper. And I'm not just talking about the sounds coming from the victims of the show's eponymous creeps. There was something literally and viscerally bloodless about the premiere, which was touted by CBS as "the scariest drama to ever air" on TV and which I have to admit was one of my most anticipated series of the 2014–2015 season. The pilot didn't have quite the lingering chill it could or should have... nor did it have the narrative fire its multiple gasoline-drenched set pieces hoped to convey.

2-Way TV Comes To Your Xbox 360 With Kinect
Last week it may have appeared that Nintendo was firing the first shot in the video game hardware war to win your television viewing with Nintendo TVii. In reality, Microsoft are the first ones to stake a claim in the next generation of TV with this week's release of two Kinect TV titles. While a completely separate execution than Nintendo TVii, the first series of Kinect TV releases aim to enhance the viewer’s enjoyment of a program by making a normally passive experience more interactive.

Clearly labeled as "a 2-way TV experience" on the front of their boxes, the first two Kinect TV "games," Kinect Sesame Street and Kinect Nat Geo TV, are hybrid interactive gaming/DVD applications. Instead of starting each episode and letting whomever is watching strictly consume what is taking place on-screen, these titles encourage the viewer to influence what is happening through their Kinect. Each...

'Untamed Americas': Josh Brolin helps trick us into appreciating nature
Charred trees lay scattered on denuded ridges, looking as if God played pick-up sticks. A skinny wolf slinks by and peers over its shoulder to ensure it's traveling solo, making it, yes, the lone wolf.

The roar of water mutes all other sounds, and rounding a corner of ancient boulder, the Undine Falls comes into sight. This one spot alone in Yellowstone National Park could make anyone appreciate Earth, which National Geographic Channel does in its four-hour miniseries "Untamed Americas," airing Sunday and Monday, June 10 and 11.

"So what's not to love? It's continents of extremes," producer Karen Bass says in a Montana restaurant after spending two days with journalists in Yellowstone. "The good news is you have some fantastic extremes because what you want is the epic extremes these creatures face. You have an epic landscape and intimate stories of survival. My mission was to get the epic and the intimate.

Casey Anderson is the star of National Geographic's 'Expedition Wild' -- a show where he co-stars with an 800-pound grizzly bear. So you'd think he'd be used to dealing with wild beasts. But on the latest 'Dog Whisperer' (Fri., 8Pm Et on Nat Geo), Casey has to deal with an entirely different type of animal -- his own two pet dogs.

Anderson and his wife -- actress Missi Pyle -- are having trouble with their two dogs: Dalmatian J.J. and Rottweiler mix Eleanor. If the canines are kept apart, then things are okay. But of course, J.J. and Ellie are always together -- and are always getting each other riled up. Casey can't handle it, so "dog whisperer" Cesar Millan comes in to help.
