Adam Rothstein was born in Livingston, NJ. He began working in film and theater production as a technician during his senior year at University of Florida, and continued freelancing after he graduated with a BA in English, focusing on Film Criticism and Theory in 2009. A short time later, he returned to school pursuing a BS in Architectural Engineering from Drexel University in 2010, but soon after withdrew from Drexel and committed fully to freelancing in film and theater.
Over the next few years, Adam had the honor and pleasure to be a part of some great filmmaking teams like AppleBox Productions and Brainstorm Digital, Inc. After learning about visual effects, he returned to school (yet again) to pursue an MFA in Visualization at Texas A&M University. He left Texas in August 2017 to move to Los Angeles and work as a visual effects artist.
