There are few more dynamic animated protagonists than Miss Barbie, especially given the different ways that she can appear. Although Ken is the most famous of her love interests, he is not the only one to fall for the iconic character. These fellows who play opposite Barbie are often gentlemen with strong family ties and responsibilities, such as Prince Stefan. Barbie's love interests have varying interests and talents, including remarkable dancers, artisans, and even fairy princes.

If Barbie's love interests were any less kind and interesting, they would be pale cardboard cutouts compared to her, and the movies would fall flat. Even with rehashed tropes and clunky animation, Barbie's animated movies stand the test of time because of their endearing characters, sweeping romances, and fairytale magic. With characters such as King Dominick and Prince Carlos supporting Barbie, the various worlds that she inhabits feel more vibrant.
