FX has released the first trailer forAmerican Sports Story: Aaron Hernandez, the latest true crime series from Emmy winnerRyan Murphy(Glee,Monster). The series starsJosh Rivera (West Side Story) as Aaron Hernandez, the NFL star whose career imploded when he was convicted of murder. The event series premieres September 17 on FX, and will stream onHulu. The limited event series consists of 10 episodes, and chronicles the rise and fall of NFL superstar Aaron Hernandez, who played tight end for The New England Patriots alongside Tom Brady until his violent nature led him to murder.
The series explores the disparate strands of his identity, his family, his career, his arrest, and his legacy in sports and American culture. ABC has released a brief teaser for Season 2 of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., although it doesn't feature any new footage. The scenes shown are from the Season 1 episode "Nothing Personal", where Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) and Skye (Chloe Bennet) finally manage to get their flying car Lola under control, before a Los Angeles valet charges them $20 for parking.
It remains to be seen when we'll get our actual first look at Season 2 footage from Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but take a look at the video below, then read on for details about some of the new characters popping up this season.
The series has already announced a number of new additions such as Lucy Lawless (Agent Isabelle Hartley), Reed Diamond (Daniel Whitehall), Nick Blood (Lance Hunter), Henry Simmons (Alphonso "Mack" Mackenzie), Kyle MacLachlan (Skye's father), Simon Kassianides (Bakshi), Adrianne Palicki as Mockingbird and Brian Patrick Wade as Cal "Crusher" Creel.
