Kenneth J. Coughlan is an experienced film/theater director and producer as well as an actor on stage and screen from Havre de Grace, Maryland. He is the former President of the Havre de Grace Drama Guild and Executive Producer of its film-making division, KEG Productions, the first film program affiliated with a Parks & Recreation Department in the State of Maryland.
Ken began his career acting on stage in the 1980s. During the 2000s, he expanded into film. More recently, though, he has been working backstage and behind the camera. He was the chair (and primary Director) of the Lewis Lane Players stage performance troupe in Havre de Grace, Maryland, a Producer with Tohubohu Productions out of Washington, DC, and a Director, Executive Producer and Producer with KEG Productions.
In 2015, Ken began working in a limited capacity for Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church overseeing their social media accounts with some video production. In the spring of 2017 his role expanded dramatically such that in addition to his previous duties, he began acting as the de facto station manager of the "Trinity Joppa" YouTube channel, producing regular original content including the weekly talk show "Trinity Talk Live," which he also hosts.
Ken has been married to Mary Kay Coughlan since 1994 and they have two children, Sarah and James. The entire family is involved in theater and film.
