Four Flights to Love (1939)
'Paradise Lost' at 20: How West Memphis Three Doc Influenced the True-Crime Boom
Four Flights to Love (1939)
When filmmakers Joe Berlinger and Bruce Sinofsky arrived in West Memphis, Arkansas in June 1993, they came with an agenda: to document what looked like a new wave of alienated youth-turned-murderers. A few months earlier, two 10-year-olds in the U.K. had made headlines when they abducted, tortured and murdered a two-year-old, and now the filmmakers had read about the brutal murders of three eight-year-old boys ostensibly committed by teenage Satanists. Kin Community Taps Shauna Miller For Newly-Created Director Of Programming Role
Digital lifestyle network Kin Community has tapped Shauna Miller to serve as director of programming -- a newly-created role. Miller, formerly the founder and CEO of Penny Chic, an apparel and entertainment brand, will now oversee development, production, and distribution of content on Kin’s channels. She will also be tasked with developing an overarching content strategy and new distribution platforms, according to the company.

“Miller’s experience as a creator and branded entertainment expert make her uniquely qualified to forge this new programming path for Kin as the company evolves into a full-fledged media brand,” said Kin CEO Michael Wayne in a statement. “We have a proven track record creating quality content targeted at a very specific demographic and look forward to taking it to the next level.”

Kin Community Revamps Flagship YouTube Channel, Announces New Series From Hannah Hart, Jenn Im
At an intimate NewFronts event last night, held within the home of Kin Community creator Christiane Lemieux, the lifestyle network announced its renewed commitment to the home space -- including decor and Diy -- as well as several forthcoming series from its roster of high-profile stars. A to Z Cooking, for instance, a series about food facts and cooking tips, will star Hannah Hart and premiere on her channel later this year.

“We believe home is where all the meaningful things in your life come together,” Kin’s co-founder and CEO Michael Wayne said in a statement. “Kin’s content, community of creators, and purpose are around helping people figure out how to make their way home.”

Kin, which comprises a network of just 150 creators and says its 650 million monthly views are 77% female, is set to streamline its own flagship YouTube channel, the company said. As opposed to showcasing a variety of creators,...
