Fans of Great American Family’s drama movies can look forward to these five new, original movies coming in August 2024. Airing on the company’s streaming network, Pure Flix, the following is a brief plot description and casting news for the new upcoming movies according to the press release.

Lifetime and KFC revealed on Monday that Mario Lopez will play Colonel Sanders in A Recipe for Seduction, which is being touted as a “Lifetime Original Mini-Movie Presented by Kentucky Fried Chicken,” but is surely just a long commercial. I mean, that’s what we want to assume. (Update: It’s indeed a 15-minute mini-movie, I am assured.)

As Covid-19 wreaked havoc on the world in 2020, Fox decided to offer a reheated second serving of “Hell’s Kitchen All Stars,” the show’s 17th season that originally premiered in September 2017, over the summer. While some fans might be satisfied with such leftovers, many are wondering when a fresh competition will arrive. Here is what we know so far.

Both Seasons 19 and 20 were likely shot back to back

Fox handed out a double renewal for a 19th and 20th season in February 2019. Unlike past years when the reality cooking show was filmed in Los Angeles, it has moved to the Hell’s Kitchen restaurant at Caesars Palace on the Las Vegas strip that opened its doors in 2018. Alas, Fox is serving leftovers here as it is a repeat showing of Season 17’s All Stars edition when 16 former contestants from past seasons were pitted against one another. Michelle Tribble, who previously finished in third place in Season 14, won the competition on February 2, 2018.

Perhaps you are starving to watch Gordon Ramsay berate chefs for their lack of cooking skills and foolish mistakes and don’t mind watching a warmed-over rerun.

With September just around the corner, it got me thinking about when the premiere of the 19th season of Fox’s “Hell’s Kitchen” might commence.

Last year, the 18th season kicked off on Sept. 28 and ended on Feb. 8 this year. The theme was “Rookies vs. Veterans,” and the winner was Ariel Fox, who found redemption after coming in third place on Season 6. Fox turned down the job of being executive chef of Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen restaurant at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Instead, she went back to her job as concept executive chef for Dos Caminos, which has five restaurants in and around Manhattan.
