Lini Evans works internationally as a multi-lingual singer and actor. When Amazon's acclaimed series The Man in the High Castle (2015) held a North American search for a Caucasian actor who could sing flawless Japanese, this Calgary-born performer booked the role without auditioning. Years prior, Lini was scouted by a Hollywood North talent agent while onstage, leading to Guest Star & Recurring roles such as Nicola Peltz Beckham's refined mother in A&E's eerie TV series Bates Motel (2013), distressed mom in fan-favorite Supernatural (2005) and Alice Wetterlund's hypercritical mother in Syfy's award-winning Resident Alien (2021). She feels blessed to be recognized often as "that Hallmark mom".
Lini is most thrilled when cast onscreen to act and sing, as in the High Castle series, and most recently Juan Pablo Di Pace/ Andrés Pepe Estrada's award-winning feature Before We Forget (2024), executive-produced by American icon Norman Lear and Brent Miller. She also performs onscreen as saloon singer in up-and-coming director Michelle Muldoon's all-female western Last Stand to Nowhere (2019).

Film & TV acting roles range from warm, caring mother to sultry torch singer performing Japanese, Italian, English and more.
