Comic-con Report: A Panel of Famous Monsters
Rick Baker
Friday afternoon at Comic-Con was spent in a panel room for FM, which featured very special guest Rick Baker, Jason Edmiston, Joe Moe, August Ragone, Mark Dooley, and FM’s own Philip Kim and Ed Blair. Sean Fernald moderated.

The panel, ‘Stake of the Union,’ gave an overview of FM’s relaunch up to the present day and revealed several pieces of news for the magazine.

Follow the success of the Annotated #1, more collections of Forrest J Ackerman’s personal manuscripts for FM’s early issues are slated to be released alongside refurbished photographs and exclusive documents.

Future cover paintings are to include Ken Kelly’s tribute to Army Of Darkness and Jason Edmiston’s Planet Of The Apes.

Finally, Rick Baker also expressed interest in painting more FM covers! The special edition of the current issue, 257, features his rendering of Frankenstein, and is rapidly selling out.
