As the title suggests, the TV movie will dramatize Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal exit. The sneak peek opens with Jordan Dean portraying the Duke of Sussex and vowing to do "everything in my power to keep my wife and son safe." Lifetime has filled its title roles for Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace. Jordan Dean (The Punisher) and Sydney Morton (She’s Gotta Have It) will star as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in the third installment of the Harry & Megan film franchise. Escaping the Palace began production this week in Vancouver for a fall 2021 debut. Dean and Morton will fill the royal shoes vacated by Parisa Fitz-Henry and Murray Fraser in 2018’s Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance, followed by Tiffany Smith and Charlie Field for the second installment Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal in 2019.

Viacom’s Channel 5 in the U.K., TF1 in France, and Seven Network in Australia have snapped up “Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance,” the Lifetime TV movie about the soon-to-be-married couple.

The two-hour movie follows the courtship of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and will be delivered to the broadcasters May 11, ahead of the royal wedding. It stars Parisa Fitz-Henley as Markle and Murray Fraser as Harry. Bonnie Soper plays Princess Diana and Maggie Sullivun Queen Elizabeth II.

The Lifetime channels in Asia and Latin America will show the TV movie in those regions. Atres has picked it up for Spain, Sbs for the Benelux region, Sky for New Zealand.

Lifetime has crowned it’s future heir to the throne!

On Thursday, the network announced its latest slate of actors who will portray the royal family in its forthcoming TV movie, Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance, about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s romance.

Australian actor Burgess Abernethy will portray Prince William while Singapore-born, Vancouver-native Laura Mitchell will play Kate Middleton. And other royal members have been cast including Preston Karwat and Briella Weintraub for the roles Willam and Kate’s children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, respectively.

Director Harold Brodie debuted his latest film "The Map Reader" at the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival on Saturday and Celebrity News Service got a chance to catch up with Brodie to discuss the film, along with the challenges and triumphs during the making.

Brodie wrote the first draft for the film about 12 years ago, using inspiration with his own fascination with maps as a child. Since writing the film, Brodie says the movie has faced lots and lots of rewrites.
