The Scarlet Witch's powers grow with every MCU appearance and major tragedy that happens in her life, and with the rollout of MCU Phase 5, it is once again time to ask how powerful Scarlet Witch truly is. As Agatha Harkness explains in the finale of WandaVision, “The Scarlet Witch is not born; she is forged. She has no coven or need for incantation. Her power exceeds that of the Sorcerer Supreme. It is her destiny to destroy the world.” So, how powerful is Wanda Maximoff, really? At this point, Scarlet Witch's powers are only limited by the imagination of the character's next writer.
In fact, Scarlet Witch's death at the end of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness even implies that only Wanda herself is capable of destroying The Scarlet Witch. Wanda Maximoff's powers are so vast and unpredictable that it wouldn't be surprising if she's one of the...

While Black Panther: Wakanda Forever deals with losing T'Challa as a hero, it also establishes that the people around him were capable heroes themselves. While the main Marvel heroes might get all the spotlight, there are some underrated allies who have not yet gotten their due.
These characters are often seen as sidekicks or love interests but ended up playing huge roles, sometimes doing more than the Avengers themselves. They might not get the same recognition as the likes of Iron Man and Thor, but their hard work and heroics helped to save the day.
Surtur
There are many who would call Surtur a villain rather than a hero but that seems to be a matter of opinion. He is a fiery demon god who is prophesized to destroy Asgard, but while that might initially sound evil, it actually turned out to be entirely necessary.

“Welcome to ‘Painting with John’ Season Two, the show where I do not teach you how to paint,” John Lurie deadpans in the trailer for his hit HBO series, returning February 18. Watch the full trailer for Season 2, exclusive to IndieWire, below.
Lurie — who writes, directs, and stars in “Painting with John” from somewhere in the Caribbean — may seem to be joking, but the multi-hyphenate talent is being serious. Dead serious.
“When season one of the show came out, I got so many people saying, ‘Oh you live in paradise. You’re so lucky.’ And I’m thinking, ‘It is paradise,'” Lurie says in a close-up. “But we didn’t show you the bad stuff.”
The horrors of Lurie’s day-to-day life? Well, let’s start with his eerie washing machine, before discussing the downside of spring. “During the rainy season, there’s these little gnat things,” Lurie explains. “They...

In the wake of “Captain America: The Winter Solider,” HitFix speculated on future Marvel movies based on the information in the film. Some of those educated guesses have come to pass, some are still up in the air, and none of them have been proven (completely) false. Buoyed by this, I’m taking the plunge again with “Avengers: Age of Ultron” because by golly this movie was Packed with future story threads just waiting to be followed down the rabbit hole of comic book lore. Warning: Spoilers For “Age Of Ultron” And Possibly Future Marvel Movies Beyond This Point. I Am Not Joking. #1: Introducing Dr. Helen Cho could mean the Greek gods are on their way to the McU. The countdown to Marvel’s summer tentpole Avengers: Age Of Ultron has turned into a never-ending swirl of clips, trailers, TV spots, posters and images. The marketing blitz kickstarted last year with the release of the first official teaser. That tantalizing glimpse at our titular superheroes promptly sent the Internet into flurries of excitement… but didn’t yet reveal any information on one of the movie’s more modest figures.
The true nature of Vision, played by Paul Bettany aka J.A.R.V.I.S., has been expertly masked by Marvel’s marketing honchos in their carefully-orchestrated stream of materials. While he made his trailer debut not long ago, it was only a scant look at the android fluttering open his manufactured eyes for the first time.
Now though, Marvel’s gone and blown the lid on all-things Vision. Over the last 24 hours, a batch of brand new magazine...

May 1, 2015 (or April 23) is fast approaching, and Marvel/Disney has aptly shifted promotion for Avengers: Age of Ultron into the highest gear. While we have new snippets of footage revealed almost daily through television spots, featurettes, and soon movie clips, the highly-anticipated sequel has officially received an expected PG-13 rating for "intense sequences of sci-fi action, violence & destruction, and some suggestive comments" as well as a run time of 141 minutes. Furthermore, it now appears there will be an official screening for the press tomorrow, and Collider is reporting that Disney will allow them to post their reactions to the movie on social media immediately afterwards. So, with that and many other things to look forward to before Age of Ultron opens worldwide, two new non-revealing still images have surfaced on Tumblr (via Weeping Angel). Featuring South Korean actress Claudia Jim as Dr. Helen Cho, who was recently revealed to be...

When Avengers: Age of Ultron is released next month, fans will see several well-known women from the Marvel universe, including Black Widow, Scarlet Witch, Maria Hill and Peggy Carter - as well as original character Dr. Helen Cho. It was recently speculated that Carol Danvers, a.k.a. Captain Marvel, might be another notable female hero that would grace us with her presence, but while that has since been proven false, the film apparently still has a mystery female character left to be revealed. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige stated that while this appearance isn.t a "big deal," it.s someone who he believes is a "good character." Well, Kevin, you have us intrigued. The possible identities for this mystery character are numerous, from someone we.ve already met, to a character from the comics making their McU debut. With that in mind, we.ve gone ahead and put...

In just under one month, fans will be flocking to theaters to check out Marvel's next Phase Two installment, Avengers: Age of Ultron, which brings together Earth's Mightiest Heroes once again as they square off with a powerful new adversary, Ultron (James Spader). The sequel introduces a number of new characters, including Andy Serkis' Ulysses Klaue, with the actor himself teasing earlier this week that his character may pop up again in Black Panther, although he doesn't know the studio's exact plans at the moment. Earlier today, Marvel sent out official descriptions for the main characters in director Joss Whedon's sequel, which reveals that the villainous Klaue actually has some sort of a connection to Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark. Take a look at the official Ulysses Klaue character description below.
