‘Attack On Titan: The Last Attack’ Movie Announced

The official website of Attack On Titan has announced that the series is getting a compilation film featuring the final season’s final part 1 and 2 of the anime which were released as two one hour episodes.

The compilation movie, titled Attack on Titan: The Last Attack, it is set to hit the Japanese theatres on Nov 8, 2024.

The film will be a re-edited version featuring enhanced visuals and a 5.1ch surround sound mix, all compiled into a 145-minute feature film.

It will feature the theme song by Linked Horizon, “Two Thousand Years… Or Perhaps… To You After Twenty Thousand Years…,” originally featured in the second part of Attack on Titan’s The Final Season Final Part.

Director Yuichiro Hayashi shared his excitement for the film’s release, stating, “I’m thrilled to finally be able to make this announcement. Please don’t say, ‘I can always watch the Final Part online!

Mappa and the production committee of Yuri On Ice The Movie: Ice Adolescence announced the cancellation of the movie’s production on April 19, 2024, despite fervent anticipation from fans who have patiently awaited its release.

The production committee and staff at the studio had held numerous discussions and made adjustments in an attempt to complete the film. However, due to unspecified circumstances, they were ultimately forced to make the decision to discontinue production.

Attack On Titan Becomes First Anime To Win Astra Award

Attack on Titan anime has made history by becoming the first-ever anime to win the Astra Award. The Hollywood Creative Alliance, formerly known as the Hollywood Critics Association, presented the Astra TV Award for Best Streaming Animated Series to the anime series during awards ceremony, which took place on Jan 8, 2024.

Moreover, Hayao Miyazaki had also been bestowed with Astra Award for Best International Filmmaker on Jan 6, 2024.

Attack On Titan Final Season Part 3 Part 2 released on Nov 4, 2023.

Linked Horizon performed the theme song for the final part. The song is titled “To You in 2,000… or… 20,000 Years From Now” (Nisen-nen… Moshiku wa…. Niman-nen ato no Kimi e).

Fans can finally catch the English dub of Attack On Titan Final Season Part 3 Part 2 on Crunchyroll, as they revealed the highly anticipated release date of the English dub on Dec 8, 2023.

Attack On Titan Final Season Part 3 Part 2 English dub will be available for streaming on the platform from Jan 7, 2024, at 9:00 p.m. Pt in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, Cis, and Southeast Asia.

Attack on Titan Collaborates With Airline for New AoT Special Jet Plane

The Attack on Titan franchise takes to the skies in a new collaboration with Japanese airline Star Flyer.

Per Oricon, Star Flyer announced the specially designed "Attack on Titan Special Jet" on Nov. 4, 2023, the same date that Attack on Titan: The Final Chapters Special 2 aired in Japan. Star Flyer (stylized as StarFlyer) was founded in 2002 and operates five routes nationally in Japan, primarily from Haneda in Tokyo to Kitakyushu, where the company is based, as well as in Kansai, Yamaguchi Ube and Fukuoka. It also operates a Nagoya-Fukuoka route. Internationally, the plane flies from either Kitakyushu or Nagoya to Taipei in Taiwan. The Attack on Titan plane is model JA26MC and will serve all these routes between Nov. 4, 2023, and March 31, 2024. Pictures of the plane can be seen below.

Mappa Studio took over the production, which was chief directed by Jun Shishido, and directed by Yuichiro Hayashi, replacing Tetsuro Araki and Masashi Koizuka respectively.
