Updated for 2014

A lot of really amazing Wonder Woman cosplay came out over the last year and 2/3 of this collection is completely new.

The costume is iconic and very hard to pull off well. First of all, parts of the costume are metal. Along with that, it's extremely form fitting, and just like Superman you either meet the physical requirements or you don't. Whether she's a symbol of female empowerment or the exact opposite is debatable. One thing for sure is you don't mess with Diana of Themyscira.

The X-Men aren't exactly lacking in firepower, but one of their most valuable weapons is their resident telekinetic ninja Psylocke, and for good reason. Aside from being able to “ask” someone to make her waffles at anytime with her telepathy, she can also create telekinetic constructs, which is a fancy way of saying she can create a crossbow with her mind. I think we can all agree that is awesome, and it seems the cosplay community thinks so too. While most of these pictures feature the classic Jim Lee era outfit, I was able to find a few modern and alternate versions of the character as well, so take a gander at some of the best Psylocke cosplay around.

Via Live for Films Dark Phoenix from Marvel Universe Cosplayer: Miracole Burns, Photographed by: Bzg Studios This past few months, I decided to cross the boundaries that I would normally stay in and do something just a tad dangerous. I have been wanting to shoot an X-Men Dark Phoenix cosplay for quite some time and the majority of the ideas made me say “meh” to myself. All it takes is a quick second to look on over to Deviantart and find photoshopped pictures of some really hideous fake fire on a Phoenix costume.. or better yet, a background of fire with a cut-out of her standing in fire pretending to be mean.
