Chicago – The new NBC series “Game of Silence” premiered on a special Tuesday night rollout (April 12th, 2016), and one of the co-stars in the ensemble, Larenz Tate, was recently in Chicago at Studio Xfinity to promote the show. Tate is a Chicago born actor – his brothers Larron and Lahmard are also actors – and he also had a featured role in the cult TV series “Rescue Me.” The regular time slot for “Game of Silence” will be Thursdays at 10pmET/9pmCT.

“Game of Silence” is based on a Turkish TV series, “Suskuniar,” and involves a rising attorney whose perfectly crafted life is threatened by long-lost childhood friends who want to expose a secret from their collective past. The series also features David Lyons, Nikki Tomlinson, Michael Raymond-James and Claire van der Boom.

Recently, CBS released the new,official,synopsis/spoilers for their upcoming "Criminal Minds" episode 22 of season 9. The episode is entitled, "Fatal," and it sounds like things will get pretty intriguing as the team deals with a new type of Greek mythology obsessed UnSub, and more. In the new,22nd episode press release: evidence found near bodies in Long Beach,CA, are going to have the Bau searching for an UnSub fascinated with Greek mythology. Press release number 2: When victims are found dead from arsenic poisoning in Long Beach, California., handwritten death threats and other clues will have the Bau looking for an UnSub fascinated with Greek mythology. In the meantime, Hotch is going to have concerns about participating in Jack’s third grade career day. Two guys walk into a bar... which is strange because you would think if the first guy walked into it, the second guy would have seen it! *rim shot* Wocka, wocka, wocka! Ah, to be a funny man. And that is the subject of the new web series presented by Daily Motion entitled, just that, The Funny Man. However, this dude is anything but funny and actually seems really difficult to get along with.

Dm was gracious enough to bring this web series to us just in time for Halloween, releasing one segment of the project each day from October 25 to November 3. The story (at least what I've seen so far) revolves around a deranged comedian with a real Norman Bates vibe. He wears a mask that makes him look like a walking Hot Pocket, but the bad intentions this guy exudes cannot be overstated.

We all know a "funny man" or two. Hell, even I think I'm a pretty funny guy...sometimes. Speaking of fun, Dailymotion has just kicked off their new horror web series and have been kind enough to include MoreHorror.com and all of you in the festivities.

The Funny Man is written and directed by Jake Barsha (creator of Eugene) and produced by Danny Cahn A.C.E., president of The Motion Picture Editors Guild. The ten-episode series premiered today and new episodes will be uploaded, through Halloween, until Nov 4th.

In the first episode "Say Something Funny" (which you can watch for free below) you get to meet "Lee", a deranged psychopath, who happens to also be, you guessed it, The Funny Man. Lee proceeds captures and holds captive a young woman and uses his phone to record her final words. Sounds hilarious, right?...

The Los Angeles cast of Pippin includes Michael Arden, Jonah Blechman, Dan Callaway, Bryan Terrell Clark, Nicolas Conway, Rodrick Covington, James Royce Edwards, Tl Forsberg, Sara Gettelfinger, Tyrone Giordano, Harriet Harris, Rebecca Ann Johnson, Troy Kotsur, Jos? Center Theatre Group and Deaf West Theatre's production of "Pippin" opens the Mark Taper Forum's 2009 season on Sunday, January 25, at 6:30 p.m. Both deaf and hearing actors sign and sing the magical musical comedy with book by Roger O. Hirson and music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz. Directed and choreographed by Jeff Calhoun, "Pippin" continues performances through March 15. "Pippin" is the captivating coming of age story about a young man's search for meaning in his life, as told by a lively band of troubadours in the Roman Empire. The episodic quest of Pippin, the son of the powerful Charlemagne, takes him through battlefields, orgies, revolution, and finally, love and domesticity, as he tries to find a place for his "spirit to run free," for his "corner of the sky." This production interweaves music, voice, American Sign Language and dance, and combines powerful storytelling techniques from both hearing and deaf cultures.
