Director Ritchie Filippi Talks The Eve; Exclusive Poster Debut and Stills
New Year’s Eve sometimes yields worse things than introspective melancholia, hangovers and/or regretful one-night stands, as is the case in Ritchie Filippi’s upcoming horror feature The Eve. Read on for the one-sheet debut and several stills.

Written by producer and The Eve star Evan Bass and additionally produced by Angel L. Acevedo and David M. Rheingold, The Eve features cinematography by Brian C. Harnick and editing by Jess King with a score by Kenneth Hampton. The story revolves around a group of friends who, while celebrating New Year’s Eve on a remote island off of Martha’s Vineyard, find themselves marauded by an unforeseen presence which halts their celebration and turns their holiday into a fight to live through to the new year.

Al Thompson, Maria Didomenico, Miranda Noelle Wilson, Rick Estabrook, Margaux Kelley, and Jody Mullins round out the cast.

With New Year's Eve upon us, we've received word of an indie horror film called...The Eve.

Directed by Ritchie Steven Filippi and written by Evan Bass Zeisel, the film concerns a group of friends that head off to the remote island of Martha’s Vineyard to celebrate New Year’s Eve and reconnect. As tensions rise, an unforeseen presence halts celebrations and instead turns their holiday into a fight to live through to the new year.
