Last year, Charles Band’s company Full Moon announced that they were launching a new production label called Pulp Noir, which would focus on “edgier, weirder, darker horror and dark fantasy films.” Two Pulp Noir movies, Quadrant and Death Streamer, have since made their way through production – and while those movies were initially released in color, all of the Pulp Noir movies will also get black & white “noir” releases, so there are both color and black & white versions of Quadrant and Death Streamer available on the Full Moon Features streaming service. While we wait for more Pulp Noir movies to be made, Band has started going through the Full Moon library to give some of their older films the black & white / noir treatment. This noir series, which is expected to consist of at least a dozen films, got started with a black & white version of the 1984 sci-fi thriller Christmas classic Trancers.

On the JoBlo Movies YouTube channel, we will be posting one full movie every day of the week, giving viewers the chance to watch them entirely free of charge. The Free Movie of the Day we have to share with you today is a horror movie. Recently, CBS released the new,official synopsis/spoilers for their upcoming "NCIS" episode 9 of season 12. No, the film doesn't have a trailer yet, doesn't have its own website, but it has something that I, Doctor Gash of Dread Central, immediately fell in love with. Trespass at Your Own Risk features the absolutely stunning Veronika London in a starring role. My goodness, she's easy on the eyes.

Frat House Massacre Synapse Entertainment is getting set to unleash director Alex Pucci's (Camp Slaughter) latest horror film effort onto an unsuspecting movie public. Filled with all sorts of sordid situations including tasteless nudity & sexual situations, brutal hazings, disco dancing and, for good measure, a few thoughtful moments of character development, Frat House Massacre stood out as one of the ten best horror films of 2000 -2009. And now it is finally coming to DVD in its Uncut version!

• Screamkings Productions has announced that its new shocker Frat House Massacre (pictured) will have its first U.S. screening next Wednesday, February 4. It’ll be showing at New York City’s Anthology Film Archives (32 Second Avenue) as part of the NewFilmmakers New York series.

The movie begins at 8 p.m., and director Alex Pucci and cast members Jon Fleming, Niki Notarile and Rane Jameson will attend and hold a Q&A. Scripted by Draven Gonzalez, Frat House Massacre is supposedly based on true events and is set in 1979, following two brothers as they join the Delta Iota fraternity and find themselves enmeshed in sex, drugs and brutal hazing that leads to torture and murder. Veteran Italian composer Claudio Simonetti provided the score. You can check out the movie’s official website here.
