Tawny Kitaen, the actress and television star best known for her role in the 1984 comedy Bachelor Party, has passed away. TMZ reports that Kitaen died in Newport Beach, California on Friday, but the coroner has not yet determined a cause of death. Very little else has yet been revealed about the circumstances surrounding her passing. Tawny Kitaen was 59 years old.

The Orange County coroner’s office confirmed the death of the actress, listed as Tawny Finley, but did not provide a cause of death.

Kitaen’s two daughters, Wynter and Raine, confirmed the tragic news on Instagram. “We are heartbroken and saddened to announce the death of our mom. The film won't cop out on the band's more controversial and painful moments.
