Coronation Street star Sally Dynevor has warned that an attraction could develop between her character Sally Webster and evil Frank Foster. Sally is currently dating model agent Jeff Cullen (Steve Houghton), but their romance hits the rocks later this week. The mum-of-two falls out with Jeff when she discovers that he has encouraged her daughter Rosie (Helen Flanagan) to sell the story of her recent kidnap ordeal to a newspaper. Sally has a showdown with Jeff at Sophie's birthday party after the article is published. Dynevor told Take It Easy: "[The article] mentions that Sally had breast cancer and Sophie is a lesbian. Sally finishes with him when she finds out. "She is just so upset by everyone taking the mickey out of her and she loses the plot for half an hour and goes completely mad at Jeff. She's really embarrassed because Rita (more)...

Coronation Street star Sally Dynevor has revealed that she is thrilled to be sending out a positive message with her character's current storyline. Sally Webster finds herself receiving romantic attention from ex-partner Kevin (Michael Le Vell) and on-off lover Jeff Cullen (Steve Houghton) in this week's episodes as both men vie for her affections. The mother-of-two split from Kevin late last year after discovering that he had cheated on her with shop worker Molly Dobbs. The upheaval in her life came just a few months after she had won her battle with breast cancer. Dynevor told We Love Telly of Sally's current plot: "I think the great thing about this storyline is that it shows that you can get your life back on track after going through a really difficult time. "That's really important to me. Sally's got these two (more)...

Sophie Webster's family stress
Coronation Street's Sophie Webster is to be caught in the middle of a devastating family feud. The teen lesbian - played by Brooke Vincent - will see the Webster clan unravel when mum Sally (Sally Dynevor) catches her devious daughter Rosie (Helen Flanagan) trying to seduce her new boyfriend Jeff Cullen (Steven Houghton). Sally, who is trying to move on from cheating ex-husband Kevin (Michael Le Vell), will be mortified when she walks in on a scantily-clad Rosie cosying up to Jeff, who has his trousers around his ankles. She shouts: "How could you do that to your own mother?" However, Rosie's plans are...

'Coronation Street' plans Sally, Rosie showdown in racy Jeff plot
Peter Adamson, Jean Alexander, Johnny Briggs, Margot Bryant, and Doris Speed in Coronation Street (1960)
Coronation Street bosses have fresh battles ahead for the Webster family as Rosie's racy return plot gets under way, a report has claimed. As revealed back in June, flirtatious Rosie will try to seduce her mother Sally's boyfriend Jeff Cullen once she makes her cobbles comeback later this year. More details about the forthcoming storyline have emerged today as the Daily Star reports that Rosie puts her plan into action after discovering that Sally and Kevin have had a one-night stand. Keen to break up her mum's relationship with Jeff (Steve Houghton), Rosie apparently sets a honey trap by making a move on him while wearing a skimpy outfit. Jeff is believed to stay loyal to Sally (Sally Dynevor) by rejecting Rosie's advances, but the schemer soon spills tea on him and starts pulling his trousers off. When Sally walks in on a half-dressed Jeff, (more)...

'Coronation Street' Sally 'to feature in dark Frank storyline'
Peter Adamson, Jean Alexander, Johnny Briggs, Margot Bryant, and Doris Speed in Coronation Street (1960)
Coronation Street's Sally Webster is to become embroiled in Frank Foster's dark storyline later this year, a report has claimed. The mum-of-two, played by Sally Dynevor, falls for Frank's charms when he offers her more responsibility and a 30% pay rise if she quits her job with Carla Connor (Alison King) and starts working for him instead, according to The People. It is thought that the plot twist occurs as Frank seeks revenge on Carla after she reports him for rape. With his professional and personal relationships with Carla both over, Frank reportedly takes away his half of the business and starts trying to steal her staff. Sources say that Sally is quickly wooed by Frank (Andrew Lancel) and even ends her relationship with Jeff Cullen to be more than just his employee. However, when Sally ignores a warning from Carla to be careful, viewers (more)...

Sally Dynevor 'hoping for Corrie toyboy'
Sally Dynevor in Coronation Street (1960)
Sally Dynevor has suggested that a passionate affair with a toyboy would be perfect for her Coronation Street character Sally Webster. Recently, the Webster matriarch has started a flirtation with Jeff Cullen (Stephen Houghton) in the wake of her separation from husband Kevin (Michael Le Vell), but Dynevor has argued that newcomer Tommy Duckworth - played by former Hollyoaks actor Chris Fountain - would be the ideal man to make Kevin jealous. The actress told Inside Soap: "Jeff's attractive, funny and listens. But who knows? Perhaps she should have a fling with Tommy Duckworth - that (more)...
