Yli-Luopa's expertise is grounded in genre cinema, from action-packed battles to absurd, splatter-filled horror. Her award-winning makeup design can be seen in films such as Sisu, Unknown Soldier, Valhalla, and Helsinki Mansplaining Massacre. Whether crafting war wounds, broken faces, or over-the-top gore, Yli-Luopa's work is precise, brutal, and unforgettable. She has received four Jussi Awards for Best Makeup and several international nominations and awards.
