Colin Sharpies (C$harp) was born Colin Spensor Hooks at Cedars Senai Hospital (Beverly Hills, CA) His father was a Director's Assistant and set manager for FM Rocks production company. His mother was medical specialist for Cedars and UCLA hospital. Colin went to private school in Santa Monica, CA for grades 1-2 then went to Cowan Elementary in Westchester. He culminated and went to middle school at Gardena Middle. He graduated from there and went to Verbum Dei for 9th grade then transferred to City of Angels Harbor City High.
Colin is well known for his self production on his projects. He has produced well over 95% of the music of his own. He has production credits for unreleased music with known southern cali acts such as Reem Riches, Skeme, Roosevelt, Lady X, and more. Colin has been making music since 12 yrs of age and has been intrigued ever since. His 4 projects have been buzzed through the LA streets since day one. ART, Leaving Earth, Spensor: The Martian, and Leaving earth 2. He is currently working on his 5th Installment of the chronicles which will be titled "Northern Lights" set to be released in 2015. As of now, he is focused on School (LA Film) and his camp's music.
