Zimmer will compose the original score for Euphoria season 3 with British musician Labrinth, who provided the celebrated music for the show's first two seasons.

While Zimmer has primarily worked on movies throughout his decade-spanning career, Euphoria won't be his first venture into narrative TV. He co-produced the score of Apple's upcoming Chief of War series starring Jason Momoa and has composed the theme music for Emmy-winning series such as The Crown and The Pacific.

Beloved Euphoria Star Doubled Down on Season 3 Exit Rumors
Image
Euphoria is one of HBO's biggest shows, but the much-delayed Season 3 will feature a major cast shakeup. The series premiered in 2019 and has yet to confirm a release date for Season 3.

Production on the third and final season was delayed several times, as creator Sam Levinson focused first on his show The Idol, and then wanted to make sure the quality of the final season was impeccable. That led to multiple exits. In a new Instagram Story, per Men's Journal, beloved star Nika King confirmed she is not returning to the show.

King played Leslie Bennett in the first two seasons, Rue and Gia's mother, who struggled with her daughter's addiction. The psychological teen drama follows the lives of several teenagers, and it's centered around Zendaya's Rue. King was an integral part of the show, but she previously confirmed that she will not appear in the upcoming season.

How in the World Does Hank Hill Know the Phrase ‘Nepo Baby’?
Image
We’re less than one month away from the triumphant return of King of the Hill following a 15-year hiatus, and during that time, Hank Hill has somehow developed strong opinions about Maude Apatow.

In the Hulu revival of King of the Hill, which is set to release its first season on August 4th, Hank and Peggy will return from an extended work stay in Saudi Arabia to find Arlen to be a very different place from the stuck-in-its-ways small town that they left. The equally traditional Hank Hill has never been one to follow the latest trends, but after so many years out of Texas, the steak-grilling, beer-drinking, Willie-Nelson-listening patriarch will have to contend with a new normal as ride-sharing apps, nicotine vapes and microbrews disrupt his day-to-day life.

However, even Hank has changed in the interim years since the show’s original finale, “To Sirloin With Love,” back...

How To Train Your Dragon: Why The New Astrid Actor Looks So Familiar
Image
If you're a fan of "How to Train Your Dragon," you may be pleasantly surprised at the changes director Dean DeBlois has made to the classic 2010 animated film (which he also co-directed) for his live-action remake. While the Viking Stoick is once again played by Gerard Butler and the Night Fury dragon Toothless looks virtually the same in both films, DeBlois gets a lot of mileage out of the new actors he casts to take over the roles. In addition to some welcome famous faces like Nick Frost, Julian Dennison, and Peter Serafinowicz, this version of "How to Train Your Dragon" has a pair of new leads in Mason Thames (playing dragon trainer Hiccup) and Nico Parker, who portrays dragon-training student Astrid.

While Parker may not yet be a name star in Hollywood, she's certainly not a total unknown. Although her acting career only began in 2019, she's appeared in several high-profile projects since then,...

Image
Sofia Coppola is recalling the moment she realized “The Virgin Suicides” was an iconic film — and it’s all thanks to Leslie Mann and Maude Apatow.

Coppola told i-d during the 25th anniversary of her 2000 directorial debut that she had no idea Gen Z was aware of the film until she was on set for her 2013 feature “The Bling Ring.” During production, actress Mann cited how her daughter was a fan of the film. Mann has two daughters with husband and collaborator Judd Apatow: Maude and Iris Apatow. At the time of “The Bling Ring,” the eldest Maude would have been 16, the same age as the Lisbon sisters in Coppola’s adaptation of Jeffrey Eugenides’ novel. (Coppola had previously confirmed to Vogue that Maude Apatow is fan.)

When asked if “a fan or someone [has] come up to you and said something that’s really left a mark about your...

12 Directors Who Cast Their Family Members In Their Movies
Image
Nepo babies seem to be all the rage in Hollywood right now. You can't swing a stick in this town without hitting someone whose parent is a casting director able to pull some strings to get them a recurring role on a sitcom. Many actors are nepo babies that the general public may be completely unaware of, like Daisy Edgar-Jones having a mother who's a film editor and a father who's an executive for a multimedia company.

However, when you're related to a famous director, things suddenly fall into place much more easily. Directors often collaborate closely with the casting department to ensure actors fulfill their visions, and if they feel like it, they can totally give a loved one a part. It may be a small cameo,...
