I’m curious about the thing the writers of Bloody Beggar were on, because it’s hard to believe someone sober coming up with something as wacky as this. Even if the story is not the kind of thing that you haven’t seen before, and it has the clear hangover of movies like Ready or Not and Knives Out, the execution here is something else. Did director M. Sivabalan ask his ensemble cast to go full insane on purpose? I don’t know, but it does seem like that. The crazy is what makes the film what it is. All seven key characters from Tj Gnanavel’s highly anticipated film Vettaiyan, starring Rajinikanth, have been revealed. The film boasts a stellar ensemble cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, and more.

Amitabh Bachchan, making his Telugu debut, plays a character named Sathyadev. In a behind-the-scenes video shared by Lyca Productions, Amitabh is seen on set with Rajinikanth, and his character was described as the “powerhouse” of the film. Tasi Lowa first appeared in The Acolyte episode 1 titled Lost / Found, where she accompanied Yord Fandar on a cargo ship to seek Osha.
