Biography

Alexander boasts an extensive background in the film and commercials industry, having held various key roles including director, production manager, and Line Producer. His career has taken him across the globe, with international experience gained in Los Angeles, New York, Dubai, London, Athens, and Nicosia. He has successfully produced and directed feature films, TV series, numerous short films, music videos, and commercials.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the American College of Greece (Deree). He has also earned certificates in: Film Producing from UCLA, Film and Television Studies from New York College, Head of Production from NFTS and Film Directing from IEK Akmi (Vocational Training).

Based in Cyprus, Alexander works as a freelance director in the realm of commercials and TV series. He also actively engages in providing production services to foreign productions seeking to film in Greece and Cyprus. Notably, he has collaborated with renowned networks such as Netflix, BBC, and various foreign TV stations.

Early in his career, while in Los Angeles, Alexander began as a production assistant at Hollywood production companies, including Lawrence Bender Productions and Kadokawa Pictures. His stint in Dubai saw him involved in the production of commercials with Joy Films.

One of his initial short films, "10 Minutes," garnered special mention in the Greek competition sector at the Thessaloniki Film Festival (2008). His first feature film, an action drama titled "The Final Payoff," achieved acclaim, winning the Silver Remi Award at Worldfest Houston and other awards while it ended up securing distribution by Filmboy Pictures and Audiovisual in Greece and Bayview Entertainment (World Sales).

His second feature film, "The Waiting Room," has received widespread recognition and numerous awards at international film festivals worldwide, including the Los Angeles Film Awards, European Independent Film Festival, Vegas Film Awards, Cyprus Film Days, and London International Motion Pictures Awards. The film has been picked up for worldwide distribution by US Distribution Company Summerhill Films. Alexander's movies are available for viewing on Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV.
