Big Brother Season 27: Is Rachel Reilly Cheating? Details Inside
Image
Big Brother and drama go hand in hand, and the same is happening in Season 27 as well. A serious accusation shook up the show, and it involved the show’s most famous winner, Rachel Reilly. That’s right, live feeds viewers caught houseguests Keanu Soto and Rylie Jeffries in the backyard, discussing what they believed was a clear case of cheating. Rylie said, “She was trying to cheat,” and Keanu backed him up by adding, “I know! That is crazy, bro!”

Rylie & Keanu saying Rachel tried to cheat in the hoh comp by writing notes on cards that got taken away. #bb27 pic.twitter.com/2DTLUnUkKX

How a Potential Rounders Sequel Shows the Enormity of Poker’s Impact on Cinema and Pop Culture
Matt Damon
That’s what Hollywood A-lister Matt Damon said about a potential Rounders sequel—nearly 30 years after the first film’s release in 1998. On The Rich Eisen Show, he was asked whether any of his movies would get sequels in the future, and Rounders came out on top. Centering around Damon and Edward Norton’s journey through the world of high-stakes poker, it’s considered a cult classic by the card game’s enthusiasts. That’s why this demand for a sequel from cast, crew, and fans alike comes despite the fact that Rounders is actually considered to have underperformed at the box office. In fact, the sleeper hit only skyrocketed to fame amid the poker boom of the early 2000s.

“Because so much has happened in that poker world in the last 25 years, it would be fun to catch up with those guys,” Damon elaborated.

With the real-life poker scene...

Austin Matelson
Big Brother alum Austin Matelson reportedly on oxygen recovering from double pneumonia
Austin Matelson
Austin Matelson was reportedly rushed to the hospital when his fiancee found him collapsed on Friday (September 27).

Since leaving the Big Brother house, his various wrestling names have become better known than Austin.

Many wrestling fans know Austin as Luchasaurus and now as Killswitch. He has become an Aew Trios, Tag Team, and TNT champion, according to wrestling site Fightful.

Big Brother fans met Austin during the BB17 season, where he nearly made it to the end with his showmance, Liz Nolan.

The BB17 season was centered on a twin twist and featured professional poker player Vanessa Rousso. The twin twist had Julia and Liz Nolan switching places in the Diary Room without telling the other players. It was an intriguing twist.

Austin finished fifth place on BB17, with Steve Moses being named the winner over Liz Nolan.

Which Big Brother Players Fans Want To See On A Third All-Star Season
Image
Should there be another Big Brother: All-Stars season, fans already know which past players they would want to compete. So far, there have been two All-Star seasons in the history of the show. The first was Big Brother season 7 in 2006. Then, during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, the production brought back another cast of former players for the show's second All-Star season.

The most recent All-Star season consisted of some fan-favorite past players as well as some houseguests that fans did not like at all. Big Brother season 16 runner-up Cody Calafiore ultimately took home the then half-a-million-dollar grand prize, becoming the second All-Star season winner. Although the season aired two years ago, Big Brother fans in the Reddit thread started by u/Justin32526jshx are already discussing which players they would like to see make a return to the house for a third All-Star season, some of which already won the game before.

‘Big Brother 23’ spoilers: The backdoor is underway, but will it also be a blindside?
Image
After four pretty ho-hum evictions on “Big Brother 23,” we are in store for some potential fireworks this week because the plan to backdoor Christian is a go. Derek X. will renom Christian on Monday after Britini uses the Veto on herself, so it’ll be King vs. King (Sarah Beth) on the block, and the one with the most comp wins so far will be the last pre-jury boot.

It was not easy getting here, made more complicated by the fact that the Veto was the prizes and punishment comp and Sarah Beth opted to take the cash prize over the Veto. That pissed off Alyssa and Christian, who are ready to boot her. Tiffany, of course, has been on the Evict Sarah Beth train the longest, so she continued to plant seeds about Sarah Beth’s threat level whether for this week or next. At one point this weekend,...

‘Big Brother 23’ spoilers: Tiffany plants the seeds for a future target
Image
It’s going to be another straightforward week on “Big Brother 23.” Whitney‘s the target and Hannah‘s the pawn, and the plan to get the former out the door is in motion. Next week could get interesting though with a new target emerging.

Christian won the Veto on Saturday, making him the second Hoh/Veto holder this season after Kyland. That’s four comp wins for Christian now. He might wanna cool it before that target on his back gets bigger, but this group also keeps hemming and hawing about who should win Hoh and who should split up Christian and Alyssa that they’ll both probably cruise into the top eight.

Whitney has figured out she’s the target and she made a pitch to Christian on Sunday to save her and renom Derek X., but it was futile. Christian confirmed afterwards that he’s not using the Veto.

Big Brother: 10 Underrated Houseguests Who Need More Love
Dan Gheesling in Big Brother (2000)
While fans excitedly theorized about returning houseguests leading up to the Big Brother 22: All Stars cast reveal, there was a lot of discussions about which houseguests did and did not deserve to be featured in an all-star cast. Some of the rumored houseguests, such as Bayleigh, Christmas, and David, caused division within the fandom with many saying they did not deserve a slot and others advocating for their place. The absence of big names such as Dan Gheesling, Derrick Levasseur, and Vanessa Rousso had some fans claiming that none of the players rumored met their expectations.

In general, a larger conversation began to form about former Big Brother houseguests who were undervalued and unappreciated. So let's take a look at some houseguests who definitely don't get the recognition they deserve.

Julie Chen Moonves in Big Brother (2000)
Our Dream Cast for Big Brother All-Stars 2
Julie Chen Moonves in Big Brother (2000)
Big Brother All-Stars Season 2 is happening!

Fans have been waiting for a second All-Stars season ever since the first one -- Big Brother Season 7 -- aired fourteen years ago.

To celebrate the great news, I put together a dream cast for the upcoming season. It includes past houseguests who dominated their individual seasons and others who fell short but were fan-favorites.

Nicole Anthony (Big Brother 21)

Nicole was robbed on her season. She wasn't a huge competitor, which was ultimately her downfall, but when she did win, everyone cheered (her Hoh win during the double eviction was epic).

Her social game was amazing, though, and she seemed to come alive towards the end of the season.

There's a reason she won America's Favorite and came in third place. Big Brother needs more likable houseguests who can actually make it far in the game.

Everyone loves an underdog, and Nicole was the underdog of her season.

Big Brother 22: 10 Former Houseguests That Are Likely To Return
Julie Chen Moonves in Big Brother (2000)
There has been much talk about the upcoming season of Big Brother.  Multiple leaks seem to confirm that this season will be an All-Stars season, something fans have been wanting for years. While there are plenty of returnees fans would love to see, that doesn't mean they are all likely to appear. For example, Vanessa Rousso and her wife recently welcomed 3 infants to their family, so while Vanessa would surely be a player welcomed back, the likelihood of her agreeing to return currently is extremely low. Additionally, some older fan favorites seem to have moved on and anyone who was eligible for the first all-stars season seems unlikely to be invited back. So let's explore houseguests that are...

Big Brother 18: 5 Best (& 6 Worst) Contestants
It’s hard to believe that Big Brother will be airing its 20th season in the U.S. this summer. The reality TV series, based on a Dutch reality competition, puts contestants from across the U.S., and from all walks of life, to live together in a house. Isolated from the rest of the world, they have no means to communicate with anyone but one another, no television, radio, or mobile devices, or books (the Bible excepted.)

So what do they do? They plot, scheme, forge alliances, compete, and dodge evictions to be the last person standing, who wins $500,000. Oh yeah, and let’s not forget that their every move and word is captured on camera, where die-hard fans can watch them 24/7 along with the 3-4 times weekly edited televised episodes.

Rounders, the film that started a thousand poker games – 20 years on
“Listen, here’s the thing. If you can’t spot the sucker in your first half hour at the table, then you are the sucker.”

It’s one of the all-time great lines in poker films. It’s also one of the many hooks that has made Rounders perhaps the most iconic and influential poker film of all time.

Originally released two decades ago in what was a very different world for poker, Rounders starred Matt Damon, Edward Norton, Gretchen Mol, John Malkovich, John Turturro and Martin Landau. Written by David Levien and Brian Koppelman and directed by John Dahl, it follows a young Damon as he gets sucked back into the world of high stakes poker while trying to clear the debts of his less scrupulous friend Worm, played by Norton.

The most influential poker film ever?

It didn’t set the box office on fire, nor did it fare particularly well with critics,...

This past Wednesday night, September 20,2017, Rob Cesternino from "Rob Has A Podcast" caught up to the winner of Big Brother season 19 Josh Martinez (above) in the backyard. During their interview, Josh revealed why he thought he was bale to beat houseguest and second-time runner up Paul Abrahamian in the final two. Big Brother 17 Steve & Johnny Mac Put Up For Eviction Yesterday,September 11th
Ok, so yesterday afternoon, the eviction nomination ceremony took place in the Big Brother 17 house, and current Hoh, Vanessa Rousso, went ahead and nominated Johnny Mac and Steve after interrogating everyone the night before. Apparently, Vanessa's got some stupid deal with Austin and Liz, which is causing her to opt keeping a power couple in the house. Vanessa told Steve that Johnny Mac is her main target. However, if Steve or Johnny win Pov today, Vanessa will finally be forced to nominate either Austin or Liz. If that happens, things could get very interesting. The Pov comp is scheduled for sometime today. We'll definitely be letting you guys know who won that bad boy once it's known, so stay tuned.

Big Brother 17 Vanessa Rousso Pulled Off Hoh Win Last Night,September 10th
Ok, so as previously reported, we saw the latest Hoh comp last well past the allotted time of the live show. So, we took to the live feeds to discover that poker ace, Vanessa Rousso, did indeed claim yet another Hoh win, and that Liz won the luxury competition. Shortly after her win, Vanessa started going to work asking questions to discover any reason she could to target someone. After talking with Steve, she thought Austin was a definite target. Then after speaking with Austin and Liz, she was considering keeping them safe. So, as you can see, this chick is all over the place and just about anything can happen with her. The eviction nominations take place today.

'Big Brother' predictions: Who will win all-important Final 5 Head of Household competition?
Julie Chen Moonves in Big Brother (2000)
On tonight's "Big Brother" the #Austwins alliance will finally be dismantled when either Liz Nolan or Julia Nolan is evicted from the house. If the divisions remain as they appear, Austin Matelson and the remaining twin will be two against the now dominant alliance of Steve Moses, John McGuire and Vanessa Rousso. Unlike Steve and John, though, Vanessa is in the unique position of siding with either alliance, depending on who wins Head of Household. It's with that in mind that I analyze the importance of the Final 5 Hoh and how it may affect the rest of the game. 'Big Brother 17' Spoilers: If Julia Is Evicted, It's Anyone's Game to Win
*Warning: BB17 spoilers ahead from the live feeds.*

Update 3: The twins changed their minds (collective mind?) and decided Julia should be evicted and Liz should stay. That's apparently how the vote will go on Thursday. Julia figures LIz still has a chance to win, whereas Julia would be playing for second place at best. Poor JuJu. It means Steve's Hoh plan went way out the window and now he's losing the person he could've dumped last week. But with Julia out of the game and a final five of Vanessa, Austin, Steve, Liz and Johnny Mac, it's anyone's game to win. Vanessa has the strongest arguments to make, and JMac is probably most popular with the jury, but they all have a shot. If Julia stayed, she'd be the "goat" that couldn't win in any scenario.

Who can realistically get to the end and win? Johnny Mac has a...

'Big Brother 17' Spoilers: Will Meg Go Home First in Double Eviction?
Warning: BB17 spoilers ahead from the live feeds.*

For the past two weeks on "Big Brother 17," James Huling and Meg Maley have been able to sit back with popcorn and watch the rest of the house fight. But now it's Week 10 and one of them is in danger of going home/to jury, courtesy of the brilliant Mad Hatter, Vanessa Rousso.

Vanessa just won her third Head of Household competition and has two sets of alliances on her side: Steve Moses and returnee Johnny Mac McGuire, plus Austin Matelson and twins Julia and Liz Nolan. Everyone wanted Vanessa out as early as last week but now she is doing what she does best: backing people into corners to make deals and winning people over to her side. You don't have to like Vanessa -- she makes it tough sometimes with all the tears and hypocrisy -- but all Bb fans...

'Big Brother 17' Spoilers: Johnny Mac Evicted, But Returned From Jury!
*Warning: BB17 spoilers ahead from the live feeds.*

Update 4: On the Thursday, August 27, Week 9 live show, the vote was unanimous: John McGuire, aka Johnny Mac, the rock star dentist, was evicted by a 5-0 vote. After he was evicted, he told Julie Chen he'd target Meg (!) if he got back in the house. Not Vanessa. Not Austwins. Not even James. He'd go after Meg to try and weaken James. So that's sad news. But the good news for JMac fans is that he won his way back in the house -- only a few minutes after leaving it! He was the last juror standing in the world's shortest endurance competition. However, bad news for sanity fans followed directly after that: Vanessa won the comp, so she is the Week 10 Head of Household. Oh boy. Another Vanessa HoH. Take a deep breath, everyone.

'Big Brother 17' Spoilers: Will Vanessa Be Evicted Next? (Hint: She Won Pov)
*Warning: BB17 spoilers ahead from the live feeds.*

Update 1: Dagnabbit. Vanessa went and won Pov. She's good. She's paranoid and hypocritical, but she's good. The feeds were down for five hours on Saturday night and when they returned, The Mad Hatter had the power. Right after she won Veto, Vanessa said she would keep the nominations the same, so John or Steve may be evicted -- unless she decides to take one down and backdoor James or Meg. That's still possible, and the answer will come during Monday's Pov Ceremony. Vanessa's alliance was initially leaning toward evicting John, but they're also worried about Steve. They believe Steve and John have been working together this whole time and Vanessa thinks Steve is two-faced. However, they also worry that James and Meg will work with whoever returns into the house from the jury. If Steve is smart, he'll spill the whole...

'Big Brother 17' Spoilers: Will Vanessa Be Evicted in Week 9?
*Warning: BB17 spoilers ahead from the live feeds.*

No matter who is evicted from "Big Brother 17" this Thursday, August 27, he or she will have a chance to return to the house within the hour. The four jury members will compete on the next live show, and one of them will stay to compete in the next Head of Household competition and try to survive Week 10. Will professional poker player Vanessa Rousso be the houseguest who has that eviction/possible redemption story? Eh, maybe. But probably not. Johnny Mac may end up following his girl Becky out the door instead. #Jecky4Eva

How did it come to this?

Vanessa's onetime close ally, Austin Matelson, won the HoH competition that had just started on the August 20 live show. Last week, under his showmance Liz Nolan's HoH, there was a lot of discussion about possibly backdooring Vanessa. They decided to table the move until this week,...
