Warning!!!! This post contains Spoilers!!
The Bachelor in Paradise reunion special taped on Nov. 4 in Burbank, and many fan-favorite contestants made appearances, but there were notable absences. At the event, some couples announced their bitter breakups. However, others are still happy and going strong.
According to Zachary Reality, several contestants opted not to attend the Bachelor in Paradise reunion. Although no reasons for their absences were given in his tweet, fans can probably assume why many of them decided to skip the event. However, there are a few surprises in the bunch. Hailey Malles, Rick Leach, and Olu Onajide, who did not have any romantic connections in Mexico, did not go to the reunion. They most likely would not have had much to offer since they were barely in Paradise, and Rick and Olu didn't even make it to the beach before they were eliminated. Casey Woods, who severely injured...

It’s becoming apparent that Bachelor in Paradise season 8 isn't hitting the target with viewers. Although it's a show that is known for not taking itself too seriously, fans aren't happy. They think that the wheels are starting to come off the bus at an alarming rate, and even consider the show hard to watch at times. Ratings are dropping, and fans are fleeing, because producers seem to be struggling to make it watchable.
Past BiP seasons have produced some successful couples and families, so the cast has high expectations in terms of what they're going to experience on the show. This, coupled with the pacing and running time, makes it feel like a very different series, when compared to prior installments. Bachelor in Paradise season 8 is really dropping the ball, as loyal fans don't like the installment, for a variety of reasons.

Bachelor In Paradise season 8 has experimented with a new twist, a split week in which the men and women on the beach were sent to different locations with a new group of singles to test their relationships. The men were able to stay on the original beach, while the women were sent to a nearby resort. The men on the beach were introduced to a group of five new women who included Kate Gallivan, Eliza Isichei and Sarah Hamrick from The Bachelor season 26, Jessenia Cruz from The Bachelor season 25 and Florence Alexandra from Bachelor In Paradise Australia.
On the other hand, the women were taken to an indoor resort where they were greeted by five new men. The new men consisted of Tyler Norris from The Bachelorette season 19, Rick Leach and Olu Onajide from The Bachelorette season 18, Alex Bordyukov from The Bachelorette season 13 and Adam Todd from The Bachelorette Australia.

During Bachelor in Paradise season 8, a twist like no other will hit the beach, and it's time to share information about a man who'll be part of the action, Adam Todd. This upcoming twist might electrify viewers, but it may not be totally unfamiliar to reality TV fans. Some avid Love Island watchers have seen this twist before. Bip viewers are in for a treat, as the Monday, October 17 and Tuesday, October 18 episodes will be known as, "split week."
Split week is very similar to the Casa Amor twist on Love Island, where the couples are separated, and new potential romantic partners are brought in for the men and women. Then, cast members must decide whether to choose new love interests, or continue what they had with their current Bachelor in Paradise partners. Adam Todd will be a newcomer during the split week, and he is not a familiar name to viewers.
