Griselda is Netflix’s latest narco-drama, starring Sofía Vergara in the titular role. The streaming giant has just released the first trailer for the series. This inaugural look at Vergara’s portrayal of Griselda Blanco shows the Godmother of Miami’s rise through the ranks of the cartel, all the way to the top.

Netflix released the trailer on their official YouTube channel, with the description reading “Queenpin. Innovator. Mother. Killer. Griselda is a woman of substance. From the minds that brought you Narcos comes Griselda.” The limited drama series is being executive produced by Eric Newman, who was involved in Narcos and Narcos: Mexico. It follows the titular Griselda Blanco, who ran the Miami drug scene in the 1980s.
