NFL Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe has found a new home for his popular podcast, Club Shay Shay, in The Volume.

In addition to moving his podcast to The Volume, the digital network and podcasting hub founded by sports host Colin Cowherd, Sharpe’s company, Shay Shay Media, will jointly produce new programming with the network. There’s a reason that WWE fans anticipate Extreme Rules all year long.

Anthony “Rumble” Johnson, former UFC champion, has died. He was 38. TMZ reported that Johnson died over the weekend – following an “undisclosed illness.”

UFC president, Dana White, confirmed the news on his Instagram. “Rip Anthony “Rumble” Johnson,” White wrote over a picture of the mixed martial artist on his Instagram Story.

The Bellator Mma promotion company also shared the news via Twitter.

“It is with great sadness we acknowledge the passing of Anthony “Rumble” Johnson,” the tweet read over a graphic of Johnson. “The Bellator family is devastated by his untimely passing and we send our condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time.”

Fighter Daniel Cormier, also took to Twitter to pay tribute to Johnson, whom he faced in the ring on numerous occasions.

O’Connor has created the drama with Adair Cole, who’ll also be EP and showrunner. O’Connor plans to direct and be showrunner on all 10 episodes. If you've ever wondered how Mortal Kombat's moves and fatalities would work in the real world, well, you'll get the chance soon enough. The team behind Nerdist's "Because Science" series is partnering with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment for a limited series with special guests from the Ufc to test out various Mortal Kombat stuff. It's a pretty neat idea, and as both a gamer and long time martial artist, I'm eager to see how they do some of these tests when it kicks off next week:

Daniel Cormier is proving why he's the champ in And out the Octagon -- the Ufc star footed a $300 dinner bill for a woman who's battling Stage 4 cancer.  Pete Guzman and his mom, Rosario, were eating dinner at Sapporo Japanese restaurant in Monterey, CA on Thursday when in walks his favorite Mma fighter, Daniel Cormier.  Cormier was with his own family -- and, as fate would have it, they were seated with Pete and Rosario at the hibachi table.
