Company, Marianne Elliott’s reimagined production of the Stephen Sondheim/George Furth musical starring Katrina Lenk and Patti LuPone, will begin Broadway performances a month earlier than previously announced, with the new preview date now set for Monday, Nov. 15.

The official opening night is now Thursday, Dec. 9 at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre, a full month earlier than the previously announced opening.

Producers today also confirmed the return of nearly the entire cast from the show’s shutdown-interrupted run in March 2020. A replacement for original cast member Kyle Dean Massey will be announced in the coming weeks, producers said.

Outsourced follows a Us sales manager, Todd Dempsey (Ben Rappaport), who's assigned to supervise his company's call center in India. The sitcom also stars Anisha Nagarajan, Diedrich Bader, Parvesh Cheena, Pippa Black, Rebecca Hazelwood, Rizwan Manji, and Sacha Dhawan.

The NBC sitcom started out decently and it looked like NBC might have a keeper on its hands. Last September, Outsourced debuted to a 3.6 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 7.49 million viewers. In week two, the demo number fell 22% to a 2.8 rating and 5.85 million viewers but that was still pretty healthy by NBC standards.

Each year we are saddened when some of our favorite TV shows go off the air and we feel as though we've lost a friend. But as the cycle of TV life goes, new shows come to replace them, introducing us to different characters and bringing us unknown playmates. 2010 was a good year for new friends. Here's our list of our latest favorite TV personalities (real and fake).

10. Madhuri from Outsourced 

We admit it. We didn't get Outsourced the first few times we watched it. We thought it was trying a bit too hard and felt a little forced. We also didn't latch on to any of the characters. But over time the show has found its groove and we are starting to relate to the personalities. And we are especially developing a real soft spot for Madhuri (played by Anisha Nagarajan) who is so shy she can't be heard.

Hot on the heels of the full season upgrade for Chuck, NBC announced today via press release that they have now ordered full seasons for three of their newest TV series. Jason Ritter's The Event gets a full-season order by NBC NBC has given full-season pickups to three of its new Fall 2010-11 series, The Event, Law & Order: Los Angeles and Outsourced. The announcement was made by Angela Bromstad, President, Primetime Entertainment, NBC and Universal Media Studios.

"We are pleased with the quality of The Event, Law & Order: Los Angeles and Outsourced, and feel they are an important part of helping to re-build our schedule and our studio pipeline," said Bromstad. "We believe in these new series and the creative auspices behind them."

Through October 11, The Event has averaged a 3.0 rating, 7 share in adults 18-49 and 9.1 million viewers overall in "most current" averages from Nielsen Media Research. The Event has generated a 30 percent improvement in the time period versus year-ago "most current" results for NBC in 18-49 rating (with a 3.0 rating vs. a 2.3) and a 47 percent increase in total viewers (9.1 million vs.

NBC's new sitcom Outsourced premiered on September 23 to mixed reviews. Apparently the network has high hopes for the show, adding it to its what use to be known as the "Must See TV" Thursday night line-up. The traditional hit-making comedy block was the Peacock's plume in the '90s with shows like Friends, The Cosby Show, Cheers, Frasier, Seinfeld, and Will & Grace.

So Outsourced has big shoes to fill, wedged between current tried and true NBC ratings-winners like Community, 30 Rock, The Office, and The Apprentice. It should get a built in audience, but the jury is still out on whether they will become loyal fans or just bide their time until Parks and Recreation returns in January.

We think Outsourced is worth a shot. It definitely has a new spin on the workplace sitcom—a company that has moved its call center to Mumbai, India.

Though NBC still has a thriving series in The Office (at least until Steve Carell leaves the show), the network, perhaps sensing an impending close to the breakout American adaptation of Ricky Gervais’ original BBC program, has decided to outsource the workplace comedy. NBC’s new series Outsourced takes Todd (Ben Rappaport) a recently trained Midwestern call center manager, and tosses him over to Mumbai, India. Why? Because their “right-sizing” their jobs to an outsourced call center for Mid America Novelties, a company who sells all the stupid novelty shit normally found at Wal-Mart (i.e. a singing deer head that sings Sweet Home Alabama). Unfortunately the level of hilarity in the new show is about as lowbrow and torturous as the same novelty items the fictional call center is attempting to sell.

New comedy "Outsourced" will soon attempt to catch up with the success of fellow NBC series like "30 Rock" and "The Office". The network has released five clips from the series premiere to give fans an idea about the series which emphasizes on cross culture and the awkwardness that comes with it.

In the pilot, when manager Todd Dempsy returns to work after management training, he learns that the Mid America Novelties call center has been outsourced to Mumbai, India. In order to keep his job, Todd is left no choice but to relocate to India. There he meets his eclectic group of employees, and soon realizes that teaching them to understand America will be the first of many hurdles that he needs to overcome.

NBC's latest addition to its Must-See Thursday night comedy line-up is Outsourced, a new sitcom where the Midwest meets the exotic East in a hilarious culture clash. The series centers on the all-American company Mid America Novelties that sells whoopee cushions, foam fingers and wallets made of bacon -- and whose call center has suddenly been outsourced to India. Those who've devoted their time to watching Parks and Recreation grow into one of the smartest, funniest episodic sitcoms on broadcast television over the past two years may be predisposed to contractually hate NBC for replacing it with Outsourced. Just as Thursday night's Must See TV kicks back into high gear for fall of 2010.

Sure, at first, it was easy to despise Parks and Recreation for being an Office clone, shot in that increasingly disreputable mockumentary format. The two shows had their similarities, but Parks and Recreation soon proved weird enough to garner our undying attention. In its second season, it flourished, breaking out of the dense shadow of its comedic predecessor.

Chicago – NBC announced their fall schedule and fans of “Heroes,” “Law & Order,” “Trauma,” and “Mercy” will shed a tear while on-the-bubble shows like “Chuck,” “Parenthood,” and “Community” will return with “Parks and Recreation” coming back later in the season. Most notably, the peacock network filled the now-vacant five hours of programming after “The Jay Leno Show” debacle with eight new fall shows and five more scheduled for midseason.
