That "Ask a Ninja" guy stars in new Pa comedy series Team A.P.O.C.A.L.Y.P.S.E.
How did I not know about this? I guess that dude from "Ask a Ninja" (Douglas Sarine) and the rest of The Av Club made a pilot for an apocalyptic, sci-fi comedy series called Team A.P.O.C.A.L.Y.P.S.E.. Not only that, but the pilot's director, Nick Armstrong, just picked up a “Best Director” nod for it at the 2009 Nytvf in Manhattan.

They call the half-hour series, set in post-apocalyptic America, "Ghostbusters meets Children of Men" which is a bit of a stretch, but I'm sure they're exaggerating.

Synopsis:

Four “men” are forced to search the barren wasteland for women to help save mankind. No one on Team A.P.O.C.A.L.Y.P.S.E. (American Planetary Objectives Committee Avoiding Life’s Yesterday and Preventing Society’s Extinction) wants to be there, but since the only alternative is death... they’re giving it a shot. They have limited supplies and even more limited brain capacity.
