Comcast Changes Customer's Name to Obscenity on Bill, Sends to Customer
Comcast is in hot water again this week after a Spokane, Washington, resident named Lisa Brown posted a bill in which her husband's first name, Ricardo, had been altered - well, changed entirely, really - to "a--h--." Consumer advocate blogger Christopher Elliott reported the story initially. Elliott wrote that Brown, after seeing the name-change on her bill, visited her local Comcast office and made a series of phone calls before contacting Elliott and sending him a copy of the bill. Comcast Sends Bill to "A-Hole Brown" When Customer Asks to Cancel Service
Comcast isn’t known for its stellar customer service, and now the Internet and cable company is once again in hot water after sending one of its customers a bill with the name “A—hole Brown.” The story was initially reported by blogger Christopher Elliott, and Comcast later confirmed the claims to Wired.
