Social media star Trisha Paytas made headlines last week after revealing that her third child’s name is Aquaman. Episode host Paul Mescal starred as an audiophile whose favorite artist — a fictional oddball named Satoshi Gutman (played by Bowen Yang) — recently had Paytas as a guest on his podcast. In real life, Yang appeared as a guest on Paytas’ Just Trish podcast.

Just days after making a surprise cameo in a Saturday Night Live sketch alongside Paul Mescal, YouTube star Trisha Paytas announced that she’ll cross off another bucket-list item: Broadway.

The one-night-only “musical theater extravaganza” Trisha Paytas’ Big Broadway Dream, benefitting the Entertainment Community Fund, will take place at Broadway’s St. James Theatre on Monday, February 3, and livestreamed on StagePilot.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled,” Paytas said in a statement. “Of all my dreams, this one is the biggest. I didn’t know how it would happen, but I always felt it would…Hopefully it’s just the beginning of my New York adventure.”

Produced by Kobi Kassal and Benson Drive Productions, the event promises “epic musical numbers, surprise special guests, and maybe even Broadway’s first live mukbang but stay to celebrate big dreams and the wild, winding roads we take to make them real.

Titled Trisha Paytas’ Big Broadway Dream, she will perform at the St James Theatre for one night only on Monday, February 3rd. If you didn’t know, the St James is currently home to the Sunset Boulevard Broadway revival, starring Nicole Scherzinger.

During the sketch, Paul revealed that “by far” his most steamed artist was a made-up personality named Satoshi Gutman, played by Bowen, an “anti-instrumentalist sound guru out of Dundalk, Maryland.”

When his friends had no idea who the artist was, Paul shared a video of Satoshi singing “Y’all Made Me Celibate.”

The fake artist, who calls his fans “bastards,” also has a podcast called Awakenings. While sharing a clip from the podcast, Trisha appeared as his “Iconic” guest.
