Top 10 Shows That Will be Coming to Disney Plus After Hulu Gets Fully Integrated
Image
Both Disney Plus and Hulu are two of the greatest streaming platforms of all time, and soon they will be joining hands in a merger. According to the latest reports, the Mouse House is pressing ahead to completely integrate the other streamer into Disney+ for all subscribers, planning to launch a unified streaming app for both by 2026 (via Business Insider).

While this would have Hulu replacing the Star tile on the Disney+ app, the standalone app will completely shut down after the full merger, per reports from @CultureCrave on X. But until that comes to pass, the real intriguing part is: Which shows will be hopping onto the Mouse House streamer after the complete merger? While it’s not known for sure yet, here are the top 10 Hulu shows that are expected to switch lanes with their merger. Dive in!

15 TV Shows to Watch If You Loved “The Bear” on Hulu
Image
Season 4 of The Bear just dropped, and whew, Carmy might finally be learning that running a restaurant isn’t a solo sport (or a daily anxiety spiral). Sydney’s cooking up more than just potential, Ebra’s turning the takeout window into a one-man empire, and the guest stars are less “look who we booked!” and more “oh hey, that really works.”

Sure, the show’s still yelling, stressing, and moodily slicing herbs in silence, but at least it’s making progress. There’s still trauma, tension, and timers ticking, but The Bear might be inching toward a kitchen that runs on collaboration instead of Carmy’s emotional damage.

And if you’ve devoured this season like a perfectly toasted beef sandwich and still want more, more chaos, more found family, more characters barely holding it together, then congratulations, chef. These 15 TV shows are your next course. They’ve got the flavor,...

Image
Bell Media’s 2025/26 slate will include a comedy series from Elliot Page’s production house, new shows from Tom Green and Jared Keeso and a batch of U.S. acquisitions, as the Canadian broadcaster puts plans in place to supercharge streamer Crave with more network fare.

The Toronto-based owner of CTV and Crave – Canada’s biggest network and streamer, respectively – revealed the headline-heavy slate to advertisers today days after launching what the company called its “most competitive digital rate card,” a move that comes as networks explore how AI can help targeted digital ads offset falling revenues elsewhere.

As Bell’s VP of Content Development & Programming Justin Stockman said in an interview with Deadline: “There are a lot of mouths to feed between being the number one network and the biggest streamer, so we have a lot of content to acquire and commission.”

Crave, in particular, has grown as fare...

Michelle Pfeiffer Is the Perfectionist Mom of Indie Icons in Ensemble Christmas Movie ‘Oh. What. Fun.’ Teaser
Image
Michelle Pfeiffer at Christmastime? No, it’s not a “Batman Returns” sequel, but it may be just as campy. The beloved actress who recently (finally!) received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is leading Michael Showalter’s holiday feature “Oh. What. Fun.” alongside a slew of It-indie actors.

Pfeiffer plays matriarch Claire Clauster, whose perfectionist tendencies always make for the best Christmases. As Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale builds towards its series finale, Margaret Atwood, who wrote the 1985 novel on which the popular TV drama starring Elisabeth Moss is based, will be honored by The Hollywood Reporter at its Women in Entertainment Canada event on May 29 in Toronto.

The Canadian author, poet and activist will receive the Icon Award at this year’s second annual Wie Canada gala ceremony. Atwood wrote the Handmaid’s Tale book on which the Hulu TV series, from creator Bruce Miller, is based. Her follow-up 2019 novel, The Testaments, is currently being adapted as a sequel series.

5 great shows to watch if you like Loki
Image
Loki is one of those shows that can’t quite fit into one genre. Yes, it’s a Disney Plus series set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it is so much more than that.

The TV series includes time travel, alternate worlds, saving universes, and so much character development that it’s hard to find something just as good. This is a story where the villain becomes the hero, continuing a journey started before his death.

With the series now seemingly at an end, there’s no doubt that you want to find something else to watch. Here are five great shows to check out next, and not all of them are Marvel!

5 Years On, Marvel Finally Redeemed Avengers: Endgame’s Most Disappointing Miss
Image
Marvel Animation's What If...? series has finally redeemed the most disappointing and awkward mistake from 2019's Avengers: Endgame. The Russo brothers' Avengers: Endgame is widely regarded to be the pinnacle of the MCU, rounding off over a decade of storytelling as the penultimate movie of the Infinity Saga. However, this doesn't mean the Phase 3 crossover event wasn't without its issues, and one moment in particular has persisted as one of the most cringe-worthy moments in the McU's history.

Avengers: Endgame marked the conclusion of the Avengers' battle against Josh Brolin's Mad Titan, Thanos, culminating in the dramatic Battle of Earth. This brought together the majority of the heroes in the MCU for the first time, allowing some unexpected partnerships and teams to form on the battlefield, but one didn't have the impact Marvel hoped. Now, however, What If...? season 3's emotional and intense double-finale has redeemed this awkward moment,...

Kahhori's MCU Future Gets Promising Update Following What If...? Series Finale
Image
Kahhori may join her What If...? co-star Captain Carter in making the jump from animation to live-action. What If...? executive producer Brad Winderbaum, who is also Head of Marvel Television and Animation, recently hinted that fans will see the original superhero, who created for the animated series, again in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

While speaking with ComicBook.com, Winderbaum shared that the sky is the limit for Kahhori when it comes to where she could appear next in the MCU. "I love Kahhori, and she’s popping off in the comics now. She started to enter publishing and is just a really exciting character. I think there’s a future for that character. We’ll see where she lands next," he teased. "But she’s a big part of this season and a big part of the What If...? tapestry. And it shows the What If scenarios don’t always have to be like,...

Marvel Animation’s ‘What If...?’ Shouldn’t Have an Expiration Date
Image
With the arrival of the third and final season of the multiverse-driven Marvel Cinematic Universe series What If…?, a series with infinite possibilities, it begs the question — why stop now? With Season 1 mostly being familiar settings within the MCU altered slightly, Season 2 really felt like the gloves were off, and the episodes started living up to the name of the series. Now Season 3 gets to dive even further into the titular concept with inclusions of new fan favorites like Shang-Chi (Simu Liu), Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn), and Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld), an Avengers lineup with mech suits, introducing brand-new characters like Kahhori (Devery Jacobs) and Byrdie (Natasha Lyonne), and even including a variant of an animated X-Men fan favorite, Storm (Alison Sealy-Smith). With the series feeling like it's just found its footing, it's a shame to see such a fun concept come to a conclusion.

What If… What If? — Season 3 Episode 8 Spoiler Review and Recap

With Captain Carter (Hayley Atwell) and The Watcher (Jeffrey Wright) captured, The Eminence (Jason Isaacs) might believe he’s won. However, a superteam of Kahhori (Devery Jacobs), Thunder God Storm (Alison Sealy-Smith), Byrdie The Duck (Natasha Lyonne), and Infinity Ultron are not letting their friends die without a fight. “What If…What If?” serves as the finale for the Marvel Animation show. With plenty of spectacle and heart, it’s a fitting farewell, even if the series still has plenty of gas in the tank.

What If...? "What If?" Series Finale Spoiler Recap: A Tragic Farewell And Some Unbelievable New Variants
Image
The series finale of What If...? opens by taking us back to the day The Watcher was inducted into the order by the Eminence. It's made clear to him that, to watch over everyone, he must become no one. After questioning the point of only watching, The Watcher vows to never fail...but, as we know, he did.

In the present, he's labelled a heretic but defends his actions; The Watcher wants to help the Multierse grow and Steve Rogers, Reed Richards, and Madisynn Variants are mentioned as being among those he's saved.

The Eminence, Incarnate, and Executioner care nothing about people and, just as they're about to kill The Watcher, Infinity Ultron intervenes. He holds them off while the heroic cosmic being escapes alongside Captain Carter, Kahhori, Byrdie, and Storm, but is destroyed.

The plan now is to travel to Strange Supreme's reality because his soul is in every...

What If...? season 3 episode 7 recap: Mutants are finally here
Image
They are finally here!

Ever since it was announced Disney completed the acquisition of 21st Century Fox, us Marvel fans have had the same question in mind: When will the Mutants get to share the screen with other Marvel Cinematic Universe heroes? Well, that day is finally here ladies and gentlemen.

Now, I know it all technically began when Logan and Wade Wilson shared the big screen alongside many other Mutants such as Cassandra Nova and Pyro. And if we're being even more technical, Ms. Marvel was revealed to be a Mutant in her stand-alone series way before Deadpool & Wolverine was released. Nonetheless, What If...? Season 3 episode 7 further cemented the idea that Mutants are finally here by featuring Storm teaming up with the likes of Peggy Carter. The best part? It's all we could've asked for.

All pieces are set up for a big finale

What If...? "The Watcher Disappeared?" Spoiler Recap: A Nod To Kang, A Surprise Return, And Storm Debuts
Image
What If...? season 3's penultimate episode opens by revisiting the reality inhabited by the Nebula from season 2 (who is now Xandar's "Nova Prime"). The interdimensional tentacle monster from previous seasons is attacking the planet but Captain Carter, Kahhori, Byrdie - the daughter of Howard the Duck and Darcy - and a Mjolnir-wielding Storm intervene.

Peggy kills the monster we first saw her face in season 1 and, moments later, the shards from the Observational Plane, shattered when the Eminence captured The Watcher, land nearby.

New opening credits reveal that the Eminence, Incarnate, and Executioner watch the Watchers and, with The Watcher captured, it's made clear that they now have no other choice but to intervene and undo his past actions.

Aboard Byrdie's ship, a foosball table features players with the likeness of characters such as Wolverine, Galactus, Rogue, Kang, and Beta Ray Bill.

Also of note is the fact Peggy...

After being pushed into the multi-dimensional wall by The Eminence, shards of the multiverse flew through space. Image
“What If…?” is back for one more round on Disney+, with Season 3 wrapping up Marvel’s animated series.

Beginning on Dec. 22, the streamer will release one new episode every day for eight days, each one reimagining the lives of various MCU characters. As always, Jeffrey Wright voices The Watcher, and several vets are returning to voice the animated versions of their characters.

But there are also new voices in there too. So, let’s break it down.

Episode 1

Episode 1 is called “What If…The Hulk fought the Mech Avengers?” and centers on Sam Wilson’s Captain America, as he has to don a massive mech suit to battle Bruce Banner after an attempt to cure himself of the Hulk goes horribly wrong. What If…? Season 3 Review — Who Watches an Empowered Watcher?
Image
As the multiverse saga unfolded across the live-action Marvel universe, a consistent complaint started to find its footing. For all the creativity that a multiverse allows, Marvel rarely pushed its ideas beyond surface-level concepts. While Doctor Strange and Loki felt like half-measures, What If… explored the oddities at the edges of the multiverse. The animated series pushes Marvel to embrace truly weird and different universes — worlds where Hulks fight like Godzilla, Shang Chi ends up in a Western, and Agatha Harkness is a Hollywood starlet. In its final season, What If… highlights a new generation of stars but feels like it’s leaving a bit of its promise behind with an early wrap-up.

Image
“Shōgun” dominated the second and final night of the 76th Creative Arts Emmys on Sunday, taking home the most awards with 14 and putting itself in prime position for the main ceremony on Sept. 15. The celebration began early for the FX drama when it collected the evening’s first award, Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series, for Nestor Carbonell’s performance in the episode “Anjin.”

It proved to be a busy night for “Shōgun.” The period drama picked up accolades for its below-the-line achievements in casting, costumes, makeup, hairstyling, stunts, production design, editing, visual effects, sound editing, sound mixing, main title design and cinematography. “Shōgun” nearly pulled off a perfect run at the Creative Arts Emmys, winning 14 out of the 16 categories it was nominated in.
