How many movies does it take to tell a story about high school senior Elle Evans (Joey King) trying to decide whether to honor her friendship to lifelong bestie Lee (Joel Courtney) or break the “rules” by dating his smoking-hot older brother, Noah (Jacob Elordi)? If you’re Netflix — the content factory that milked “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” for its full trilogy potential — then the answer is three, obviously. Except the makers of “The Kissing Booth” didn’t have a solid book series to fall back on, nor a compelling romantic rivalry to stretch across multiple movies.

Law & Order: Svu will air an episode inspired by Donald Trump weeks before the election, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The episode will center around a politician — played by beloved character actor Gary Cole — whose campaign is derailed by damaging accusations from several women. Currie Graham, Meredith Travers, Bianca Amato and returning guest Peter Gallagher will also co-star. The episode, titled "Unstoppable," is scheduled to air October 26th at 9 p.m. Et on NBC.

See Star-crossed Lovers In "The Broken Heart"

New York -- If the idea of a posthumous wedding onstage is intriguing, then John Ford's 17th century, darkly-humored drama "The Broken Heart" will have immense appeal.

The classy production presented by Theatre for a New Audience, currently performing at The Duke on 42nd Street, has an expressive, talented cast, and a rather high body count, though only one of them gets (tastefully) married as a corpse.

Before everything turns Gothically gory and "revenge proves its own executioner," there are a couple of engrossing hours of human tragedy, tinged with comic moments that are energetic and smoothly paced.

Ford, whose best-known play is "`Tis Pity She's A Whore," is considered to be the last great dramatist of the English Renaissance. The timelessness of his characters' emotions enables director Selina Cartmell, in her American debut, to make the work completely accessible to a modern audience.
