London-based sales company Independent is handling international sales for Moon, a sci-fi thriller starring the indestructible Sam Rockwell and directed by Duncan Jones. The pic, which has just finished shooting at the U.K.'s Shepperton Studios, is the story of a man stranded on a moon base, lonely but not alone. This is the debut feature by Jones, formerly Zowie Bowie, who has carved out a career as a commercials director. The script by Nathan Parker follows Astronaut Sam Bell who has a quintessentially personal encounter while stranded on the moon for a three-year period.
