Ben Kingsley and Ray Winstone in Sexy Beast (2000)
A prequel television series to classic crime drama Sexy Beast will stream on Paramount+. Here’s the trailer…

Writer and director Jonathan Glazer is currently enjoying a plaudits for his Holocaust drama The Zone Of Interest. Based on the 2014 novel by Martin Amis, it follows Auschwitz commandant Rudolf Hess and his wife as they try to build a life living next door to the concentration camp.

Chosen as the British entry for Best International Feature Film at the 96th Academy Awards, the film is due to be released in UK cinemas on the 2nd February.

Astonishingly, Glazer has only made four feature films in his career thus far – Sexy Beast in 2000, Birth in 2004, Under The Skin in 2013 and Zone Of Interest. Sexy Beast continues to have notable impact too, staying in the cultural conversation long after it was released. The film followed Ray Winstone as Gary ‘Gal’ Dove, a criminal...

‘The Third Day’ Trailer: Jude Law Leads HBO Series From ‘Sleep No More’ Team
Jude Law, Emily Watson, Naomie Harris, and Katherine Waterston in The Third Day (2020)
Getting trapped on a secluded island paradise may not have sounded so bad a few weeks ago, but in a post epidemic-world, that mysterious premise may tap into some very relevant anxieties. At least, that’s as much as can be gleaned from the intriguing first trailer for “The Third Day,” a new HBO limited series starring Jude Law and Naomie Harris. The trailer features eerily upbeat music, some stunning aerial shots of a winding road submerged in water, and plenty of smoldering Law looks.

Here’s the official synopsis, according to HBO: “The show is divided into two parts: ‘Summer’ and ‘Winter.’ In ‘Summer,’ one man (Jude Law) visits a mysterious island off the British coast and discovers a group of inhabitants intent on preserving their home at any cost. In the second half, aka ‘Winter,’ a strong-willed outsider (Naomie Harris) comes to the island seeking answers — but instead...

Damson Idris in Farming (2018)
‘Farming’ Trailer: A Young Nigerian Boy Searches for Himself Inside Brutal Skinhead Culture
Damson Idris in Farming (2018)
Lionsgate has unveiled the first trailer for British-Nigerian actor Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje’s feature directorial debut, “Farming,” a fascinating true story about a young black boy’s search for love and belonging within a savage skinhead subculture. Based on Akinnuoye-Agbaje’s own unbelievable story as a troubled youth in London, the title “Farming” refers to the practice of giving children over to informal fostering, which many Nigerian parents did in 1960s and 1970s Britain.

Akinnuoye-Agbaje’s parents, at the time students in 1967 London, gave him to a white working-class couple in Tilbury, which was then a fiercely insular, majority white dockside community. He was in constant danger of physical attack from local kids who, encouraged by their parents, nurtured a violent fear of black people.

Seeing his skin color as a burden, and actually thinking of himself as white, Akinnuoye-Agbaje developed a reputation for violence, eventually joining the local skinhead gang...

Judy Garland in Ziegfeld Girl (1941)
Judy Trailer #2: Renee Zellweger Takes on the Legend Behind the Rainbow
Judy Garland in Ziegfeld Girl (1941)
Truth be told I don't know Judy Garland from much more than starring in director Victor Fleming's classic 1939 musical adaptation of author L. Frank Baum's The Wizard of Oz. But all the same, starring as Dorothy Gale from the original The Wizard of Oz is one hell of a film to headline your resume, am I right? Right. And it's with this in mind we want to share the new trailer for her upcoming biography movie Judy starring Ren&#233e Zellweger, Rufus Sewell, Michael Gambon, and Finn Wittrock.

For those of you out there, like me, that aren't well versed in the stardom of Judy Garland, she has a solid filmography separate from The Wizard of Oz. Some of these films include Vincente Minnelli's Meet Me in St. Louis, Stanley Kramer's Judgment at Nuremberg, and director George Cukor's 1954 remake of A Star Is Born. Garland...
