Hoping to follow in the footsteps of My Big Fat Greek Wedding, former Spielberg assistant Marc Fusco is looking to bridge the gap between American and Armenian entertainment in latest directorial effort, My Uncle Rafael. Based on characters from the award-winning stage comedy “Rafael Keri Gandzere,” Fusco worked alongside creator and actor Vahik Pirhamzei to adapt them for the big screen.

Alongside Pirhamzei, the award-winning comedy also stars Missi Pyle (The Artist, Charlie & the Chocolate Factory), John Michael Higgins (Yes Man), Anthony Clark ("Yes, Dear"), Joe Lo Truglio (Role Models), Rachel Blanchard (Road Trip), Carly Chaikin ("Suburgatory"), and Sage Ryan (Piranha).

The film opens in select theatres on November 2 but you can get a sneak peek with the exclusive clip after the cut!

Lifetime has decided to cancel their Sunday night drama, The Protector, after one season on the air. The decision doesn't come as a surprise since the writing has been on the wall for awhile. While the Ally Walker series has some devoted fans, the ratings just weren't high enough for a second season.

The Protector follows Gloria Sheppard (Walker), a single mother and detective in the Lapd Robbery-Homicide Division. A recent divorcee and single mother, Gloria has to perform her duties as a homicide detective while taking care of her young sons, Nick (Sage Ryan) and Leo (Thomas Robinson). They all move in with her brother, Davey Sheppard (Chris Payne Gilbert), and he helps her raise the boys. At work, Gloria works on some of Los Angeles' most high profile crimes with her partner, Detective Michelle Dulcett (Tisha Campbell-Martin). Disney's A Christmas Carol will be released on DVD, Blu-ray and 3D Blu-ray on November 16. The single-disc DVD will be priced at $29.99 Srp while the Blu-ray will be priced at $35.99 Srp and the four-disc 3D Blu-ray, which will include a 3D Bd disc, a Bd disc, DVD and Digital Copy, will cost $49.99 Srp.
