Watch The Short Film 'Bashed' From The 'Trick Or Eat' Series
A new short film by Jonathan Moody was released via it's Facebook page at midnight last night and I thought I'd share it with y'all. Good job with a one on one cast and just in time for Halloween!

Bashed... "In the woods no one can hear you Die"... Bashed is a grindhouse type short filmed in Williamsburg, Va by filmmaker Jonathan A. Moody for his anthology series "Trick or Eat". It stars DaNae West (The Gritters, ZombThology) and Russ A. Bryan (Psychopath, Paranormal) as two office workers spending sometime alone together with some secrets to tell. Who would have guessed it was going to be their last?

DaNae, Russ, and Jonathan had all worked together in another short film in Northern Virginia with filmmakers Robert Elkins and Victor Michael Anthony Nash. The short film was "Nightmare at Bunnyman Bridge" which played at this years Fright Night Film Festival.

First Look Into Trick Or Eat With Director Jonathan Moody - The Faces Of Indie Horror
We here at Big Daddy Horror Reviews try our best to cover all aspects of modern horror from the mainstream to the indie to the little seen. With that in mind we lauched the "Faces of Indie Horror Month"- We brought you an interview with a legend in the field, in the form of director Tim Ritter (Truth or Dare). We saw the cautionary side of indie horror filmmaking with director Chris Power (Long Pigs). We dug up some summetime nostalgia with an interview with actor Matt Mitler (The Mutilator). Now we focus on an up and coming director Jonathan Moody, known for his web based anthologies. With such titles as Trick or Eat or Scream Queen Campfire, Moody is tapping into the nostalgic side of horror, but presenting it in a very modern format. We had the chance to ask him a few questions about his work. Here's...

Director Andrew Allan and producer Andy Lalino will accompany the movie, in which a center for troubled youths proves to be a haven for bizarre mind-control experiments. Check out Brainjacked’s MySpace page here.

The creators of the New Jersey fright feature Only Go There At Night, which we previously reported on here, have completed the sequel and set a premiere date. Only Go There At Night: Darkness Rising will screen this Friday the 9th at 8 p.m. at Boonton, NJ’s Darress Theatre (615 Main Street); a Q&A...

Virginia filmmaker unleashes a Psychopath
Indie writer/producer/director Robert Elkins sent along some exclusive pics (see ’em below) and info on his new Virginia-lensed feature Psychopath. A homage to the masked-killer fare of the early ’80s, the movie recently screened at Louisville, Ky’s Fright Night Film Fest.

Kyle Billeter stars as Sarah, a young woman who travels to the rural town of Raven’s Neck with two friends (Danaé West and Russ Bryan) in search of her missing twin sister. Instead, they find Eddie (6-foot-6 actor Lawrence Wiencek), an escaped mental patient described by Elkins as “a violent killing machine, plain and simple.” The result, the filmmaker tells us, is “12 onscreen kills, including a decapitation by ax, multiple stabbings, a really bloody cinderblock head crush and some awful things done to a cook at the local bar with a meat cleaver. There are no scenes like in a lot of low-budget slasher movies where when someone gets killed,...
