Who ends up who is perhaps the most important question anime fans ask, possibly only second to "who would win?’ The romance genre is one of the most loved, and even though when the show is not exclusively romantic, fans are always interested in the dynamics between different characters. Sometimes, the audience is treated to obvious couple formations between the protagonists, but fans have limitless imaginations when it comes to shipping.
It just so happens that some anime couples don’t get their due share in the limelight because they haven’t been exclusively written into the storyline in that manner. However, usually, when the chemistry between some characters is off the charts or unexpected, it forces the viewers to make sense of that relationship. Whether they are canon or not, the audience has more than a few surprising anime ships that work far better than the original pair.

Anime is a medium filled with series of every widely known genre, as well as shows that occupy genres not found anywhere else. For fans of fight scenes, this means it isn't hard to find the specific type of action that appeals to them. It also means that those who aren't interested in seeing powerful fighters combat each other still have an abundance of options to choose from.
Popular as battle Shōnen may be, many of the best anime ever don't contain any fights at all. This includes sports anime like Haikyu!!, romance anime like Your Lie in April, slice of life anime like Komi Can't Communicate, and so much more. These 10 anime all stand atop their respective genres, and while some may contain quick scuffles or playfighting, none of them feature a single real fight.

Shōnen Jump has long since made a name for itself as the biggest manga magazine in the world. Not only has it consistently had the highest circulation of any manga magazine in Japan, but it’s birthed some of the most iconic manga of all time like Dragon Ball, One Piece, Naruto, and Bleach, so there’s no denying how big it is to the world of anime and manga.
Some of history’s most iconic manga came out of Shōnen Jump, but that can’t be said for every one of their works. In addition to Shōnen Jump manga that were canceled too soon, some manga, even when they do get a chance to tell their stories properly, never leave much of an impact on people, so whatever the case, plenty of great Shōnen Jump manga were unceremoniously forgotten due to how little impact they left during or after their runs.

Audiences don't love classic shojo just because of the nostalgia factor. While that definitely plays into why some more notorious or madcap titles become cult classics, like Vampire Knight, there are many other shojo classics that still hold up to today. Newer anime audiences and viewers who only watched shonen anime could start these titles and enjoy everything they have to offer.
Classic shojo titles tell diverse stories, from enchanted, intergalactic magical girl journeys to contemporary coming-of-age stories about love and artistry. Some titles, like The Rose of Versailles, set the genre standards for historical anime. Others pushed at the boundaries of gender convention, and still have progressive storytelling merit today.

Shojo manga and anime are marketed towards a young girl audience. Shojo stories tend to revolve around personal growth, friendship dynamics, and falling in love. Though shojo anime tends to have a certain set of tropes and themes, the stories are still quite varied.
Likewise, slice-of-life anime spans across many subgenres and demographics; it explores the daily lives of interesting characters who are often entering a new world or phase of life. Shojo combined with slice-of-life makes for a great story. Series like Ouran High School Host Club explore the school life and romances of elite students, and stories like My Happy Marriage tell the incremental story of a woman who enters an arranged marriage, slowly recovers from trauma, and falls in love for the first time.

The isekai genre is a pillar in the anime landscape, and for good reason. On top of the wonder of watching a character explore a new realm, a major appeal of the genre is its richness in romance isekai can contain heartwarming, passionate love stories among its characters. From Raeliana and Duke Noah Wynknight in Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion to Miaka and Tamahome in Fushigi Yuugi, there are plenty of well-written relationships to watch unfold on the screen.
However, sometimes the romance is more questionable than it is adorable. Be it problematic dynamics between characters, toxicity, or borderline incestuous behavior, the isekai genre can contain just as many morally ambiguous romances as it does inspiring ones. Sometimes, these dubious relationships can strengthen the protagonist's character and make for an overall better story. But other times, they're just plain hard to watch.

The best enemies-to-lovers anime excel at portraying one of the most beloved tropes among audiences. Not all couples begin with love at first sight any of them feel nothing but anger toward their future partner at first, until becoming closer makes them both realize that theyre more than what they appear.

Four new cast interview videos were posted in December on the official website for the upcoming Berserk anime.
These videos are a new installment of cast interviews which follow a previous round that received mixed reviews from many anime fans.
