Micanel Greaves

Singer, Songwriter, Spoken Word Artist, Actor..... are just a few titles to describe this Miami Native. Son of Reggae artist Tedman Greaves of Roots Uprising Micanel is destined to succeed his father as a supreme entertainer. Micanel's words mixed with his passion for poetry garnered him the title "The Love Poet" by Rashida Bartely and Demas of local Miami radio station Hot 105.1 FM and longest running spoken word venue in Miami The Funk Jazz Lounge. Continuing his quest as the curator of sensuality Micanel has blessed microphones and pages along side Hip - Hop Artist King Solomon's Dread, Houston based poets Angie G & Queen otherwise known as Mary Magdaline, and has written and co-written songs for local Miami - based artists. Also, in the Entertainment Capital of the World the Fabulous Las Vegas, Micanel has become synonymous with aiding the grassroots collective of taking spoken word to new levels working with Las Vegas Poets "THE GRIOT KEITH BRANTELY" ,"THE BRONZE PARAGON" and "FOR THE FIGHT (FTF)" front man ETCH and many others.
