Zach Kuperstein is a New York-based cinematographer known for his work on "Barbarian," topping the American box office for several weeks and leaving an indelible mark on the horror genre. He was listed among Variety's Artisan Elites, when he burst onto the field with the southern gothic film, "The Eyes of My Mother," premiering at the Sundance Film Festival in 2016. His work earned him nominations at the Independent Spirit Awards and the Camerimage International Film Festival. Since then he's lensed many more features including the Sam Raimi-produced action thriller "Don't Move," as well as "The Climb," winning the jury's heart award at 2019's Cannes Film Festival followed by screenings at Telluride and Sundance, then together with "The Vigil," at the Toronto International Film Festival and the would-be 2020 SXSW Film Festival. His collaboration with Anna Kendrick on her highly anticipated directorial debut, "Woman of the Hour," premiered at TIFF with rave reviews in 2023 and is awaiting release by Netflix. Adding several other features and a slew of short films getting festival play around the world, including the 2021 Academy Award Shortlisted "No Longer Suitable for Use," Kuperstein has earned global recognition for creating compelling narratives and is always ready to lift a good story off the page and onto the screen.
