I had the chance to fully study every team during preseason, analyze how the rookies will fit in, and dissect all the important off season moves.

Baltimore Ravens - The Ravens made the playoffs the last 4 seasons, and won their division last year. They have as good a Head Coach / Gm combo as there is in the NFL. Joe Flacco is just a good enough quarterback to win with, as tailback Ray Rice can do the rest. The offense should be very good in 2012 but this being Baltimore it’s still all about the defense.

As most football fans know, the opening sequences of a game tend to make for cheesy TV flourishes. One of the more pompous acts of pageantry is when each starting member of an NFL team introduces himself by name and the university he attended. FX's 'The League' has definitely upped its game this year, with the season 2 premiere featuring much-loved Cincinnati Bengals' wide receiver Chad Ochocinco. And last Thursday sports fans enjoyed guest appearances from Baltimore Ravens' linebacker Terrell Suggs and Cleveland Browns' receiver Josh Cribbs.

We've seen the occasional athlete host 'Saturday Night Live' or try their hand at action movies (Howie Long went down in a storm of fire with 1998's 'Firestorm'). Most acting attempts by athletes aren't great, but Suggs is especially funny in 'The League.' He even keeps up with improvisational star Paul Scheer, who plays Andre on the show, in this behind-the-scenes video.
