Match Game is returning for the first time since 2021 with a new host and a star-studded lineup. Martin Short was named the host for the revival, which is technically Season 6. New mystery coming soon..." reads the caption of Only Murders' X post, which includes a set video of Renée Zellweger, Logan Lerman, and Téa Leoni trying to steal the show from Steve Martin, Selena Gomez, and Martin Short by announcing the production wrap. The post's caption also included a water fountain image, which is no doubt a reference to the upcoming season's murder victim, Lester, the Arconia's doorman, who was found dead in the apartment complex's fountain. The end is in sight for Only Murders in the Building Season 5. Dan Fogelman, who is an executive producer on the hit Hulu series, recently revealed how far along the production is on the upcoming fifth season.

Speaking with Collider on the red carpet of the Newport Beach TV Fest, Fogelman shared that filming is close to wrapping on Only Murders Season 5. "Well, I mean it’s great. I’ve seen six of the ten episodes already. We’re almost done shooting the season as we speak," the executive producer revealed. Production on the fifth season began in March 2025, roughly six months after the Emmy-winning show was renewed by Hulu.

Season 5 is so far following a similar trajectory to last year's Season 4, which was also in production between March and June. If the production timelines continue to sync up, it's possible that Only Murders Season 5 will return to Hulu around...

Year after year, Only Murders in the Building manages to defy the norms of modern streaming and release new episodes on a yearly cadence. Heading into Season 5, co-creators John Hoffman and Steve Martin don't appear to be slowing down much yet, either. Founded by Tribeca and Chanel in 2015, the mentorship program provides industry support, artistic development, and funding to emerging U.S.-based self-identifying women and non-binary filmmakers.

“Storytelling is a profound responsibility … and I’ve realized, actually, the most powerful thing that I can do is what I’ve been trained to do my life, which is to tell a story,” Through Her Lens Advisory Committee member Patty Jenkins said during the luncheon.

In Honey Don’t!, the latest film in Ethan Coen and Tricia Cooke’s intended lesbian B-movie trilogy, Margaret Qualley plays Honey O’Donahue, a tough but glamorous private investigator in Bakersfield, California. Honey is typically in the business of infidelity, taking cases involving suspicious spouses and their philandering partners. But at the start of Coen’s prankish film, which premiered at Cannes and will be released in theaters by Focus Features on Aug. 22, the sleuth finds herself drawn into a higher-stakes mystery. The death of a local woman leads Honey down a slippery path involving religious cults, megalomaniacal pastors and an unexpected romance.
