Image
The following contains major spoilers for Chicago P.D. Season 10, Episode 22, "A Better Place."

Chicago P.D. has had its share of explosive season finales, and the Season 10 finale was no exception. Sergeant Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) and his team raced from blowup to blowup, dealing with both emotional bombs and actual C-4, in an attempt to keep Richard Beck (Lee Tergesen) from executing his deadly attack -- and left the audience with a potentially devastating cliffhanger.

Season 10 brought significant change for Intelligence, beginning with the departure of Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer). Intelligence also added Dante Torres (Benjamin Levy Aguilar) to the team and saw the arrival of Kevin Atwater's (Laroyce Hawkins) father, Lew. More than anything, Season 10 put several of Intelligence's members in danger, and no one more than Adam Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger).

I’m so excited to be a part of this powerful piece directed and starring Tara Westwood.”

‘The Best of Enemies’ Review
Stars: Taraji P. Henson, Sam Rockwell, Babou Ceesay, Nick Searcy, Wes Bentley, Anne Heche, Bruce McGill, John Gallagher Jr., Nicholas Logan, Gilbert Glenn Brown, Caitlin Mehner | Written and Directed by Robin Bissell

The Best of Enemies is directed by Robin Bissell and follows the intense relationship between Ku Klux Klan president C.P. Ellis and Black Rights activist Ann Atwater played by Academy Award Winner Sam Rockwell and Taraji P. Henson, respectively. Bissell’s film doesn’t necessarily tread new ground in this now saturated genre, albeit much-needed conversation of cultural acceptance. However, The Best of Enemies is a gripping and deeply astonishingly poignant tale that showcases a truly outstanding performance from Taraji P. Henson, who is an absolute powerhouse and steals the entire show with a phenomenal in both a visual and verbal performance.

If you’re going into The Best of Enemies wanting a fresh take on racial tension in America,...

Zane Holtz in First Trailer for Small Town Mystery 'Beyond the Night'
"Do you think that a man's demons can be passed down to his son?" Breaking Glass Pictures has released the first official trailer for Beyond the Night, a mysterious thriller set in a small coal mining town. The film premiered at the Woodstock and Austin Film Festivals earlier this year, and is getting a small release in January. When a soldier's son reveals damning information about a local gangster's missing daughter, a war of attrition wreaks havoc on their forgotten mining town. Jason Noto's Beyond the Night stars Zane Holtz, with Tammy Blanchard, Azhy Robertson, Caitlin Mehner, Chance Kelly, David Fierro, Enid Graham, and Neal Huff. There seems to be some kind of supernatural element to this, but it's a bit more subtle than most horror films. I really enjoy the moody atmosphere of this, I'm quite curious about the film. Here's the first official trailer (+ poster) for Jason Noto's Beyond the Night,...

Henson. The full cast includes Wes Bentley, Anne Heche, Sope Aluko, John Gallagher Jr., Nick Searcy, and Caitlin Mehner. This looks much better than expected, some fire & passion in these folks and I'm looking forward to seeing how it plays out.
